Creepy Tale: Snow Child

Creepy Tale: Snow Child is a dark fairy-tale adventure that combines puzzles, exploration, platforming, stealth, and occasional action within a beautifully unsettling hand-drawn world. This game fits well with the other games in the series. Pros: - the dialogue between characters is often funny and witty. - the game has some interesting characters (e.g. Adele) and levels. Cons: - some puzzles are a bit weird (e.g. the one with the sword, feather, bee and key). It took a while to figure out how to solve it. Although it is a clever puzzle, I think the producers could have implemented it in a clearer way for the players. - the narrator's voice and comments between levels are a bit annoying and don't fit well with the game's atmosphere (but that is perhaps only my personal opinion).

fun, but achievements are trash

Something is going on when i get to the level where I have to throw the body parts at the monsters. I am clearly striking it on time and it keeps staying red. They need to fix whatever the F is causing that problem. I even restarted the level to to see if it would help. Nope. Highly annoyed I cannot get a refund.

This is the exact part of the game where I dropped it after just 5 minutes of playtime. The very first mission involving swinging is terribly made. I barely managed to pass it, and only then did I figure out how you're even supposed to do it. The second mission is just throwing a pinecone, and that was it—instant drop. Why on earth this game tests my stick-handling skills and math calculations for parabolas is beyond me. As magnificent as the first Creepy Tale was, this one is absolute hot garbage. Refunding this. Hard pass.
