The game holds 20 different levels each increasing in difficulty. The unique grapple hook mechanic creates difficult, but rewarding game play. Speed Swing is a poorly made physics platformer where you're in a room full of gigantic Creative Commons assets (at least the developer acknowledged that) and you "swing" from platform to platform until you hit the exit flag. There's a speedrunner aspect that nobody cared about. The whole thing is extremely amateurish and of very poor general quality, from the level layout, game assets (taken from someone else), optimisation, and lack of polish. It looks like this was slapped together in less than a weekend, yet it's being sold for profit, so at least someone has a sense of humour. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. [h1] Skill Game [/h1] Feels more challenging and skillbased than the end Verlet Swing levels. Only wish it would look a little prettier. Also air strafing would ruin this game.

I didn't go into it expecting much. It was a cheap platforming game based on swinging around on a rope. I was expecting a Spider-man esque experience to cleverly get to a location. Instead it turned out to be a "You will do the precise inputs required or you will fail the level". Plus it feels like the rope behaves poorly half the time. It was less "Speed Swing" and more "Slow Swing" as you repeat the same level over and over hoping for the rope to behave like it should while you're trying to do actions that require far too precise inputs. Half of the time you fail it's not even your fault. The rope just decided to stop your momentum. I'd avoid this game.

I have a new found respect for Spiderman after having played this game, level 8 is where im currently at I got past 7 by sheer luck on the 2nd go, and while level 5 was a pain with 30 attempts before i finally beat it persistence is the key to success with anything in life why else would someone like Mark Zuckerberg waste billions of dollars on a thing called Meta? because he believes if he keeps trying no matter how much a failure he looks like right now to the rest of the world eventually he will find the thing hes looking for. Persistence is key, great game.
