About Can't Stop Rory

The cozy yet deadly farming game that marries relaxation and base defense in a bright post-apocalypse. Plant, nurture, and decorate your little refuge by day. Hold the line by night. You are Rory, a stubborn farmer trying to survive in this world. When The Fall happened, you went into cryosleep and waited for the right time to wake up. Now that you are awake, you are supplying food to the survivors. Let go of the stress and relax with this simple and satisfying gameplay.

Grow crops, sell your harvest, and reinvest in seeds, tools, and upgrades to slowly turn a tiny homestead into a flourishing refuge. Start with a limited farm and expand it plot by plot, unlocking new crops, decorations, and mechanics along the way. Make it grow bigger and more beautiful until you have the best farm there is.

Night brings waves of Unfed. They will breach your walls to get inside, so clever layout and strong defenses matter more than ever. Build barricades, turrets, traps, and use your super Death Mecha to defend your farm against a variety of zombies, each with different effects and unique ways of disrupting your farming experience. Once the night is over, repair your walls through mini-games and rise again!

Unlock new farm upgrades and optimize your production. Less water consumption? More crops produced? Faster-growing crops? More firepower for your Mecha? You can have all that and make your experience smooth and unique.Having an optimized farm is cool, but having a beautiful, optimized farm is better! Decorate and customize your farm to feel at home, even in the middle of an apocalypse of the Unfed. Now that you know what's waiting for you in Can't Stop Rory, let's build the best farm in history!

This is a fun cozy game that has a twist with zombies at night. They are easy enough to deal with but help make you want to build your farm up to make it easier to deal with 5/5 would recommend.

Very cozy vibes and pretty dang addicting. The game play loop is satisfying. Definitely recommend. Some issues for the dev (that they prolly already know about?)- (All of these come with the caveat that the main gameplay loop is clearly established enough for this vibey little Indie game that I am happily giving it a Thumbs Up, regardless of the issues that exist on the day 1 release build of the game.) -The mech glitches into the ground sometimes when too close to zombies. -Sometimes just unable to leave the mech for seemingly no reason. -This one might be my own feel, but the mech flames feel like there is a dead zone in between the two flames where enemies are not being hit. I could be wrong about this, and it might just be the fact that the flames do not intersect at all that is throwing me off. If that is the case, maybe consider "widening" the flame graphics just towards the middle of the mech so that it is obvious where the flames do and do NOT touch. -Also in this same category, the flames shoot out about twice as far as their hitbox. Meaning that i think that I am hitting zombies that I am not close to hitting. I assume that when you level range up that is…

Farming, with a twist. I like the art style, but I need to play more to see just how wild it gets. Imo the tutorial needs a bit more work, but at under €8 it's worth picking up if you like a different type of farming sim.

The game is pretty satisfying to play and I found myself getting losing track of time while playing, some parts can be tedious(mainly upgrading plots is very slow later in the game) and there's bugs to be encountered, nothing you wouldn't expect from an indie game that just released. The art, models, designs are all awesome I just really love everything about how the game looks. Zombies give a good little mix of challenge and pressure in the early game but you will quickly find them trivial to deal with. Better scaling and more zombies in the future would be awesome. Walls are completely useless, I upgraded them once and never again so it would be cool to see that expanded on in the future. More utility upgrades would also be awesome to see, I heard vacuum to quickly sell your crops and automatic watering will be added shortly. On top of that Id love to see maybe a place-able selling station, shop, and well. The only part of the farm I used when playing was a tiny section next to all the important stuff, It just doesn't make sense to plant stuff anywhere else as it takes too long to sell and water plots that are far away. All that being said id recommend it, great price fo…
