Papermancer is a necromancer strategy game where you summon units to battle rival dark wizards across a board while sacrificing creatures to gain advantages. What sets it apart is its death-mechanics twist where fallen units can return to haunt the battlefield in unexpected ways.

Story

The heros have been defeated. The wizards of light are dead. Only darkness remains. All that is retained within the world belongs to its shadows; hatred and resentment for their own kind fester in lieu of a common good to fight against. All who reside here wish to be the Ruler of the Dark. But, alas, there may be but one who reigns supreme over all manner of nightly frights.

Gameplay

You are a necromancer. Others of your kind are trying to take you down! They wish you removed from the prospects for Ruler of the Darkness! Command your summoned units to the other side of the board and defeat their necromancer before they defeat yours! Fight your way through enemy mobs by attacking and sacrificing both your units and theirs! BUT! Be warned! For death is not necessarily the end!
