About Nullwake
NULLWAKENullWake is a psychological horror game about isolation, uncertainty, and the slow collapse of reality. You wake up in an abandoned hospital.
The building feels familiar, almost safe — until small details begin to feel wrong.
Lights flicker. Corridors stretch longer than they should.
The world does not break all at once. It erodes. As you move forward, the environment changes around you.
A deserted town. Empty streets. Mannequins standing where no one should be.
Locations blend together, as if different worlds are overlapping.NullWake does not explain everything.
It lets you notice what should not exist.Fear here is not constant — it waits.
Those moments are intentional.Enemies do not follow predictable rules.
Sometimes the safest option is to stop moving.
Sometimes stopping is the worst choice you can make.
Not everything you see can be trusted.Reality shifts slowly, and the game never tells you exactly when it happens.
Multiple interconnected locations
Unpredictable enemy behavior
Environmental storytelling
A slow, oppressive pacing inspired by classic horror experiencesNullWake is not loud.
It does not rush you.
It waits for you to realize that something is wrong. And by then, it is already too late.

Incredible game and incredible graphics for an indie game, like seriously. Very realistic. The first time I bought it I refunded it because it was way too difficult for me to solve a puzzle. It's a difficult game in general, you should know that, you'll really have to work for it. But the dev was kind enough to help me out with a hint and I bought it again and was able to progress with the story and it's awesome so far!3 found this helpful
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
Nullwake is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store assets, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. This is a basic Unity kitbash that DIG Games got their hands on. I think to some extent the "developer" genuinely thought it would be okay to steal/plagiarize a bunch of other people's game assets, arrange them bad…2 found this helpful
Not sure where these positive views are from but this game is garbage. Gameplay is dumb almost like it's trying to be a knock off of outlast. the intro was goofy and just ruins the buildup of anticipation. My biggest issue is with the voice overs. I don't know why dollar store Dracula is Voicing the commentary, Dev must have the mentality of a 12 year old. This game was the polar opposite of atmospheric, gripping, or realistic. I'm ashamed I wasted 2 minutes of my life with the download of this game.2 found this helpful
- Save / Load system doesn't work. - Objectives doesn't make sense and they give you no help at all - City area felt empty and boring - At the cabin game softlocked and the "burning mask man" froze and game didn't progress. Dunno if i missed something or what happened but i was stuck there. When trying to load the game there was nothing to load for. Don't think there is manual saving either. - AI voice overs - The whole plot didn't make any sense or the story telling, atleast until i got softlocked (there was not much of it)1 found this helpful
Nullwake is a slow-burn psychological horror experience that places atmosphere, ambiguity, and unease at the center of its design philosophy. Developed and published by 44days company, the game makes it clear from the outset that it is not interested in conventional horror pacing or constant shocks. Instead, it invites the player into a fractured, unsettling world where silence is often more disturbing than sound and where understanding what is happening feels just as elusive as escaping the nightmare itself. The game leans heavily into disorientation and mood, crafting an experience that feels oppressive, lonely, and persistently uncomfortable. The narrative unfolds indirectly, placing the player in an abandoned medical facility and gradually expanding outward into desolate environments such as empty towns, fog-choked forests, and decaying buildings that feel frozen in time. Rather than presenting a clear storyline, Nullwake relies on environmental storytelling, fragmented clues, and subtle visual details to suggest what may have happened. Notes, objects, and spatial cues hint at a larger mystery, but answers are rarely explicit. This deliberate vagueness encourages players to ac…1 found this helpful
