Dune Rancher

The gameplay is basic. Not much of a strategy game. It took me an hour to beat the game. The enemies are somewhat of a threat but after a upgrade or two they become useless and just become an annoyance. Once you figure out the loop it very boring and you are waiting for the number to go up. Some features are useless and others make the game extremely easy. 3/10

42/42 achievements, review time! ehh its okay, good price for the time spent and achievements. really tittering on yes or no recommending game feels lacking in multiple areas. small area, nothing to discover or really do besides unlock. no secrets that ive noticed or achievements for one. little automation. theres bots that go around but they arent the great and theres auto collect pillar things that you can have 5 but they are fairly slow and not that big of a AOE. upgrades dont explain what they do, kinda gotta guess and test whats different. even hovering over some of the items to buy doesn't explain what it is or does like seed bug and blade bot. the whole "dune" part of the game is lost, you are on what looks and feels like a rock in space fighting aliens or weird deformed MC monsters/villagers. the resources dont match the desert much either, you got a fruit ball, bar rock, brick and a diamond or crystal whatever it is. sword feels useless compared to sickle or crossbow with how much more range and speed you got with others. the mouse is stuck in the middle of screen when you alt tab. you have to push e for upgrades or few a shop to fix. settings get reset when you …

[h1] 6/10 [/h1] Love the art, the atmosphere, and the vibe. Outside of that though, the game isn't anything special.

This game is a blast to play. Simple concept, and the fact it has Rust controls means you may already be surprisingly good at it with no experience. It's zero-stress as in the enemies can't harm you and the available upgrades and abilities are really creative.

Fairly simple incremental game. Played in its entirety on steam deck with no issue. What is really impressive about the game, however, is how much the dev cares about it and the community: they are active both here on steam and on the discord server, quickly answering questions and trying to solve any issue in a timely manner. Definitely worth supporting!

This game is exactly what you expect for $2. It's good, it's not great. It has everything it needs to be a game worth that price, I would love to see more added to it, but as it stands right now, it's FAIRLY enjoyable for what it is currently. I had a good time just mindlessly clicking away
