I genuinely do not know where these paid reviews are coming from, but let me tell you, as a real person in real life, this is one of the WORST games I have ever played. The pacing is AWFUL, the first 30 minutes of the game you are just wandering around increasingly boring environments listening to a snooze fest of dialogue that could've easily been cut down to five minutes or a few notes. The game in essence is just a lazy search and find with NO ACTUAL COMBAT. The "mechanics" that this game boasts about were entirely broken as well, and the "weapons" being various robots is completely random. Thematically the game is all over the place, and completely uninspired. Just a boring slog through a slop fest of shared assets that weren't even put together with care. The parts where you are in the house and it's abandoned are SO lazy because there isn't even anything inside. Just looks like the backrooms, ZERO effort. On top of all of that, the brightness is GOD AWFUL with no settings to fix or improve it. OMG The head bobbing is making me sick and dizzy. While checking settings there is nothing to turn off head bobbing and then i had a fatal error and had to hit alt F4 to shut this game down, This is the absolute worst game i have ever played on Steam, Going over to Epic games to find a decent game to play -please refund as this game is unplayable

The focus here isn't on fear but on various gameplay mechanics. It was fun but it's not quite what you'd expect from a horror game 7/10

Game breaking bug. I am stuck in the lobby and the door leading into the house has the blocks that say "you are not welcome". I even reinstalled the game and the problem persists. Learn to code.

I wish i could say yes i recommend this game as I really liked the premise of the story, and the gameplay follows the standard first-person horror formula. Unfortunately, the opening cutscenes felt way too long. The intro dragged on so much that I nearly quit before reaching the actual gameplay simply because I was getting bored waiting for the game to start. I also found the game's brightness settings to be a major issue. The environment was so dark that during my first playthrough I gave up because I could barely see where I was going. I had to increase the brightness significantly just to make out most objects and navigate properly. Even after adjusting the settings, the game seemed to become progressively darker over time. I'm not sure if this was an intentional gameplay mechanic or a bug, but it became frustrating enough that I eventually stopped playing. At this stage, I'm not sure if I'll return to the game. I may give it another shot if some of these issues are addressed in a future patch or update.
