Hymer 2000

How is this not plagiarism of Never Let Me Go? I don't care if the game mentions the book itself or not, this is shameful. Do yourself a favor, read the book instead. It's infinitely better.

hymer let the barts out

A well-written, quietly yet deeply tragic low sci-fi story about the "donors" who lived in the building of Hope Residence, watched over by the computer Hymer 2000, who you are now tasked to dismantle so the building can be demolished, with no occupants remaining. A playable abridged tragic novel with puzzle components. Themes of memory and forgetting, mortality, grieving what could have been. Bittersweet. Recommended.

it's... it's so melachonic and sad... the way you progress through the story is well-made and fits well..
I hope those children did live beautiful lives after all... hymer is such a good robot.. I would imagine the reason it hadn't helped those kids is because the alternative would be Nexus dismatling hymer for a robot that cares less for the children's well-being..
This is more or less the same setting of Never let me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (the book is even mentioned in it), so if you have read it or watched the movie version there is nothing new here. It was a bit disappointing to see something so similar in terms of story. No big twists nor anything. The retro aesthetics is pretty good though. The gameplay is mostly walking and searching words in a search engine, it was kinda fun though. A good entertainment for a single sitting relaxing gaming (reading) afternoon.
