About Great Powers

A 4x global turn-based strategy game with a well-developed economic and military model.

- Control one of the Great Powers to gain dominance throughout the world. (England, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Prussia, Russia, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire)

- A full-fledged economy: you need to develop infrastructure, build roads and warehouses in order to extract resources. From resources, produce goods for the construction of the army and navy.

- Developed diplomacy, declare war, make alliances, build embassies.

- Trade, produce expensive industrial goods from cheap resources that cost 10 times more.

- Control an army or fleet in battles, capture enemy provinces.

- Exploration of the New World, conquest of the Indians.

- World map based on real historical provinces of the old world of 48 states.

- Over 100 technologies to research from 1500 to 1900.

- Sophisticated AI that uses linear programming techniques and fuzzy sets to make decisions in specific situations.

To survive and become a powerful state, a real Great Power, many criteria must be taken into account:

- Size of territory and wealth of resources

- Development of infrastructure, what is the length of roads, how many warehouses, ports, enterprises

- The number of labor force and their skills. A master works 6 times more productively than a simple worker

- Size of army and navy

- Merchant fleet size

- Technological level

- Successful diplomacy, presence of allies

Only by forming a developed economy, trade, army and navy can we achieve sustainable development and protect our national interests around the world.

The game is inspired by the Imperialism 1-2 series of games. If you have already played them, you will be able to get used to it quite easily. This series is distinguished by its deep development of the economic, scientific and military model of the state and is considered one of the best 4X strategies in history.

I really tried to enjoy it, but it's just imperialism from wish. It could have been a great game, even is stolen idea, abandoneware should be free to use, so i don't have an issue with that. But dude, just finish the game before publishing it next time. Also, the translations are terrible

This game has the potential to be amazing and sell to all people like me who played the first 2 games for hours and hours... What is truly amazing is the combination of both time periods, the early colonial age where you scramble for the new world. And the Victorian age where oil slowly becomes the most important resource but it is scarce! Great job on that front For the most part the best of both games were kept. Now here is the ugly piece that will prevent this game from lifting off. It is a pain to play.... And I mean this in every possible way. 1. Navigating the map is a nightmare, especially on a wide screen, somehow moving up and down works, but not left to right. I'm using a combination of keyboard keys+shift and the minimap. It's horrible. And please fix the zoom feature as well please 😊 2. AutoSave - I stopped playing for that reason alone. You don't think about saving when playing such games and losing 200 turns of play is infuriating to say the least. 3. QoL - god you need to add QoL improvements. The ability from both Imp 1&2 to simply click on the remaining tiles when selecting a worker was a life saver. This was the single functionality that made mid/late game p…

Potential to be a great game. Need tool tips for various aspects of the game. Unable to figure out how to get minor nation to join your empire. I enjoy playing the game and can’t wait for future updates and new maps.

It plays like the old imperialism games. If you are looking for that I can recommend it. Got some funny localisation issues. Like world instead of peace, as in russian it is the same word.
