Town to City

I like the game. It's cozy and fun to play when I just want to relax and enjoy a cute city builder. Unfortunately, the game is poorly optimized. GPU usage is unreasonably high for the visuals being rendered. My PC is fairly powerful, and a relatively simple game like this should not need to push the GPU to 100% usage. Until the performance and optimization are improved, I can't recommend it. I hope the developers address this, because underneath the performance issues is a genuinely enjoyable and relaxing game.

But apart from that, it was a lovely experience. It’s just a cosy game to relax with, and that works really well! This was cozy, low cortisol city building. Didn't have to worry about people dying or stress about weather stuff, just keeping my people happy. Which is nice.

I actually got very sucked in, the two-bit graphics, the tycoon like gameplay and once you get the hang of it, it become a bit challenging until you learn what you're doing! 9/10, the more houses i get the more my computer lags a bit LOL

Absolutely loved it. I love being able to put so many details into the little cities, the music and the whole vibe is wholesome. I enjoyed this game SO much even tho I'm not a big fan of Voxels. This is an awesome game, I love this game. The only thing that could use some improvement is simulation coding, how come you alert users of >1000 npcs could cause lag? I've gotten worse lag from other things than npcs in this game, still, it is incredible.

This is an enjoyable game! The gameplay loop can become repetitive and grindy at times, but I had fun revisiting the game after a few months to finish the achievements. Can become slightly laggy when zoomed out with 2000+ people (my PC specs attached). Overall, I do recommend the game. You will determine very quickly if you like the style or not in time to refund if it is not for you.
