I went into this game with very low expectations. Like… underground level lol. I had already read a ton of negative reviews (and there are many), but once I started digging into the positive ones, I noticed a fairly big update that supposedly improved the game a lot. And that was what finally convinced me to give it a chance. I honestly had a hard time deciding whether this should be a positive or negative review at first. Normally, I only write reviews after finishing a game. But I just couldnt wait this time. I am actually legit excited to discover what else the game has to offer. This is a very slow paced farming sim, so I will strongly recommend focusing on maxing out friendships with the NPCs early on! A lot of the story, quests, and unlocks are tied to those relationships, and that ia really where the game starts to shine. My favorite NPC so far is Lily the frog 🐸 And no, not just because she is a frog (although that is a huge bonus haha). Her personal story genuinely surprised me, and in the best way. Unfortunately, this game is missing invert mouse - Y axis options. I figured I would wait for an update, but it's been over a year and a half and it's still missing. I was told back when I first asked for the feature that it was on the internal tracker. I asked about it again, just to received an AI-written response stating that it wasn't planned. Unfortunately, I think it's too late to refund it - I think I won't risk waiting on this sort of thing in the future.

Game is very undone and it's a mess. They mixed all the ideas into one game: farming, gardening, futuristic sci-fi and what not. For such a small game it can be very overwhelming. Guides are unclear, 3 achievements are broken which they are neither removing nor fixing. You need ton of planks for building things but only way to get them is to wait until you unlock (by doing quests that are related with leveling up bond with npcs) snowy area where you can get few pinecones daily, get seeds from them and plant your trees which then you wait for 2 seasons to grow!!! so you can chop them and get 1 log per tree. Ridiculous. If you want to buy fertilizer, be prepared for finger pain and eventually buying new mouse because you have to click to buy 1 by 1 item and you will need hundreds if not thousands. Same goes for seeds. You cant buy anything in stacks. Requirements are insanely grindy, quests are just making you play game longer for no reason with their "wait for 7 days for response, wait for 14 days for response etc".
