About 12 is Better Than 6

✦ AI summary

Fight your way through 1873 Texas as an escaped slave in this hand-drawn Western, where dual-trigger gunplay demands precision and every encounter can be approached through stealth or direct combat. Authentic period weapons, a gripping survival story, and tactical upgrades set this gritty tale apart in a harsh, beautifully illustrated desert landscape.

It is 1873. An escaped slave is slowly walking through the desert, making his way from Mexico to Texas. He keeps a revolver close and is wearing the sombrero stolen from a dead man.

Key Features:

  • Deadly gunfights
You’ll need to cock the revolver with one trigger before being able to shoot by pressing another trigger. One false move and you’ll be overrun in an instant.
  • Authentic weapons
Winchesters, double-barreled guns, revolvers and Gatling guns will gladly help you to destroy all of the gringos. By the way, we have a RAT with dynamite
  • An enthralling story
Live through the journey of an escaped Mexican prisoner fighting for survival and freedom in the 1870's in the United States
  • Choose your style
You can choose to take a more stealthy approach to surprise your enemies, or even just sneak straight past them
  • A splendid art style
The game is drawn by hand with pen and paper to create an interesting visual experience
  • Setting
Real places and towns, the spirit of the desert and the most desperate bandidos of the district will help you to plunge into the breathing and cruel world of the Wild West
  • Upgrades
You'll find breastplates that will have a 50% chance to deflect some bullets, a fast recharging skill that will allow the hero to insert 2 bullets at once, extreme accuracy (less spread for your shots), being able to kill an enemy in stealth without attracting the unwanted attention of his friends, and more!

As a free-to-play title, it was excellent—even though the story in the free version was unfinished. I think it’s suitable for all players, though I doubt any game in this genre can surpass *Hotline Miami*. For those unaccustomed to this style of game, I recommend finishing *Hotline Miami* first before playing this one. I did notice a few things that seemed illogical—such as enemies getting killed by their own allies—but one particularly interesting (and frankly ridiculous) element was the in-game bow. Why? It was considered the best weapon in the game; instead of firearms taking the top spot, the bow reigned supreme. How so? Without getting too bogged down in the details, I’ll point out the simplest issue: You could fire shots through walls and hit any target you wanted—something I couldn't manage with any other weapon! Overall, though, it was an entertaining and engaging game; it’s definitely worth checking out.

This is a wild west game similar to Hotline: Miami. Overhead view of main character, with mouse to point in the direction you face and keys to move around and manage inventory and interact with stuff. The art style chosen reminds me of the games on apple/macintosh computers in the late '80s / early '90s. Black and white, and cartoonish outlines on boxes, but with decent detail on the character / enemies / environment. The music is spaghetti western. If you like Hotline: Miami, you'll likely find this to be a less goo version of that game, but not by much. That game just felt more polished than this one. But for a couple bucks or free? This is a recommend from me.

game music is top-notch ; gameplay is nice and challenging but i don't know how & why the game runs around 35-45fps even I have a decent PC with decent specs. Overall chill and relaxing, also achievements are relatively easy to get.
