12 Labours of Hercules XII: Timeless Adventure

All the gods, have mercy... The series got much to much complicated in the last 3 installments. Got more an ERP simulator than easy going fun.

This latest version of 12 Labours has quality of life improvements that will be appreciated by achievement hunters. 1) It has an improved, though imperfect, guide. 2) In the pause menu you can adjust the game speed, slowing things down, for those really tricky levels.

Having completed each of the previous 11 games, this one was more enjoyable than the last couple of them: the thieves are gone, and there's a new "backpack" feature where the character accumulates things it collects without going back to home base after each pick-up. The "building the clock castle" is an unimpressive graphically as the constructions in previous games, but that's not why I play these games. A good challenge, and a "thumbs up" from me.

Fun no brains game, I loved them all.
