About 2014.Aftermath

In 1980 the Cold War between the USA and the Soviet Union was at its climax. No wonder that a minor incident in Eastern Europe was enough for the situation to expand up to the widespread uncontained nuclear clash. The world vanished in the nuclear blaze.

The Soviet Union was well prepared for such scenario and since the fifties implemented the program of construction of huge underground shelter-cities. By the beginning of the war the country had erected a vast network of such cities with highly developed infrastructure.
But in the course of time the fall and the decay became evident. In 2014 one of the residents of such shelter decided to reveal what was going on at the surface. That’s where our story begins…
Pass the way full of dangers and enemies up to the surface.

The game is an action-platformer and consists of eight large levels.

Game features:

 • eight spacious levels
 • traps and puzzles on the way
 • various enemies
 • several kinds or weaponry

The game hasn’t yet been accomplished – it will be substantially improved and advanced. Now you can see a totally functioning prototype.
Warning: Asset Flip! 2014.Aftermath is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store assets, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of generic "tacticool" military assets and some generic backdrops to make a lame, extremely badly assembled 2D retro platformer/shooter with some adventure game elements. I think at some stage someone genuinely thought this could become a real game, but when they failed, Conglomerate 5 stepped in to push the shovelware as part of their suite o…

game seems like its worth a bit of your time but the lack of an option to see what buttons to press to do anything make playing this game a bit of a gamble when you just start. still it was obtained free so i cannot complain to much when i get free stuff. add a KEY CONFIG option in the menu and maybe i will give it another go and a better review. as of now 2 out of 5 stars is my rating.

I like 2019.Aftermath-COVID invasion.

Despite the reuse of assets and its association with Conglomerate 5, i think this game had at least a little effort put in it. The levels are interesting, albeit the ladders are annoying. I got this in one of those packs of random keys from G2A and it is in the top 10% of those games. Not shovelware but probably not worth paying for.

[*]Game Complexity: Simple shooting game but you only use the keyboard. [*]Game Difficulty: The very bad game design increases the difficulty. If you die it is better to restart the whole level than to respawn on the last checkpoint. [*]Achievements Complexity: Simple achievements of kill x enemies and complete the game. [*]Achievement Difficulty: Same as game difficulty.
