8-bit Adventure Anthology is a collection of the NES ports of three of the four "Macventure" games Shadowgate, Deja Vu, and Uninvited, the originals are also available on Steam, developed by Kemco. Each of the three are point and click adventures focused on a different setting Shadowgate is more traditional sword and sorcery fantasy where you are solving puzzles to find your way through a castle to stop a Warlock from unleashing a powerful beast onto the world. Deja Vu is a noir style detective mystery where you take a role of a amnesiac who has been set up and framed for murder and must regain their memories, figure out who framed you, find the evidence(and dispose of the ones that were made to prove your guilt) to build a case to clear your name. Uninvited is a horror adventure where you and your sister end up in a car crash near a old manor, you wake to find your sister is missing and possibly in the manor. You must find your way through to find her. Unfortunately for you this manor is haunted. I wonder if a volume 2 will ever be released 🤔 If so, hopefully Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom is part of it! I used to watch my brother play it a lot when we were but wee lads and I'd like to play it again myself!
