i can't think of a single person i know that i'd recommend this game to. it's not bad, but it's one of those games where you're using all of your attention span for something that doesn't leave you with anything in the end. the puzzles in this game oscillate between "why would i do that?" and "oh that's not really visually clear." manny, the main character, doesn't really have an archetype of problem solving or a coherent thought process. the game just expects you to jump to conclusions about outcomes. pretty annoying. for being an epic sort of story, every bit of moving the plot forward is a slog followed by some bright spots of funny dialogue with the side characters, but even that gets sort of tainted. whenever manny talks to someone there's usually the main branch of dialogue with the character, the stuff that develops the plot, and your funny chitchat. the problem is when you have a serious conversation with a character and then you're still left with the funny random options. the tone of a conversation gets all scrambled, and to be honest, there's too many options. conversations usually go on too long if you want to hear all the dialogue. Truly a masterpiece of the genre. Oustanding writing, music, character- and world design and it's really funny too. It feels a tad rushed towards the end but even so, the journey and the finalé are wonderful. Some glitches might occur - dialogue might end but animations won't, the main character might hold items the wrong way, minor things like that which doesn't really spol the game. It is a must-play for all gamers and gamerettes out there.

This may have been one of the best video games I ever played. It just oozed charm, between Manny, Glottis, the story, world, and progression.
