A Front Too Far: Normandy

Atrocious! Clearly an abandoned game by the developers. Bad models, bad animations, bad NPC AI, bad voice acting, and bad game destroying bugs!! I can't believe that this was from the same devs for Easy Red 2

i AM TRAPPED IN A SAVE AND CANNOT MOVE ON THERE IS NO SAVE EACH MISSION WHEN ACCOMPLISHED AND A RESTART IS REQUIRED THERE NEEDS TO BE A PROGRESSIVE SAVE FEATURE AS ALL WHAT YOU HAVE ACHIEVED IS LOST.IF YOU FAIL ON A MISSION.

The game is not interesting, don't buy it.

Awesome indie RPG with an open world set during World War II. From the intro you are thrown into a pretty big open world of the French countryside. You have German patrols you can sneak around or engage in firefights all over the map in cities and and fields/forests. You can follow the main story or tackle on side missions to help the French Partisans while being able to sell items or upgrade items in their hidden camps. The NPC's have voice lines and there is even a great soundtrack to accompany you on missions. While it is a RPG you have to manage your health with different medical items and even keep your nutrition up with food and drinks. The gunplay is not bad and even though there are bugs and it may not be the most polished game there is a lot to love with A Front too Far. You can tell there is a lot of passion put into this game and it really shows if you can look past the small budget of the game because it has a lot of soul compared to other half baked games. There are not many open world RPG's set during World War II and if you are a fan of that then this is a must buy. A Front Too Far: Normandy — Not Worth Your Time!! 🤦‍♂️ The opening makes this game seem promising, but that impression disappears almost immediately. The graphics are decent, but the world feels empty. There are trees 🎄, shrubbery, and terrain, but nowhere near enough detail or content to make the environment feel finished. One of my biggest issues is the controls. You can't properly customize your controls, which is ridiculous for a PC game like this. There are also no useful hotkeys for quickly switching weapons, medicine, or other equipment. Instead of pressing 1–5 to grab what you need, you're stuck opening your inventory in the middle of combat and manually selecting things like bandages. The gunplay 🔫 isn't much better. Some of the weapons feel decent, but the bullet registration is terrible. Enemies can soak up bullets like a sponge while also spotting you from ridiculous distances. Combine that with the lack of cover and terrible inventory system, and larger gunfights become frustrating instead of challenging. 🤦‍♂️ Vehicle handling is straight-up awful. Hit the wrong bump and your vehicle can flip, glitch into the terrain, or end up underneath the map. Th…

This.. i cannot say anything good. Its a classic example of a great idea executed incredibly poorly. It looks way, way worse than easy red. Runs far worse too. You have texture pop in at about 10-15 meters in front of you even on high LoD settings. And it's basically a bastardised version of easy red 2. If this project were to be developed further, then my opinion would definitely change. But for now, with these issues present, its obvious within half an hour of gameplay that this just isn't it.
