[h1] [b]Horror game with a bit of piglets in you pocket.[/b] If you already have the game it might be worth checking out but otherwise I would skip. Short walking sim set in spooky house. You have some delusions and everything gets a bit fuzzy but still you manage to explore the place and find the truth about it. Gameplay is mostly about finding items to progress further in to the story. Some exploration is involved and despite plenty of jumpscares it's not very scary. Skip or play - your choice. [/h1]

[h2]A Girl's Fabric Face, a story about guilt and letting go[/h2] As a game, A Girl's Fabric Face isn't all that revolutionary. It's your run of the mill spooky house exploration simulator where you try to catch paranormal activity and film it. The scares and tension are average, nothing really terrifying or memorable, but still fun. Where the game really shines is the story. A simple but interesting concept about a murderer and his victim being stuck in a cycle of torment and having to break it through forgiveness, or not, with that decision ultimately being left up to the victim. It's reminiscent of Five Nights at Freddy's Ultimate Custom Night, with that game's Custom Night essentially being the murderer's personal hell of torment, with the victim refusing to let go. Having played TurnVex's other games, I'm glad to say it still holds up as one of his first games. He clearly saw what worked and what didn't and used that to polish his games from then on. Overall, I can recommend A Girl's Fabric Face as an entry point, and if you like the style, I can only recommend checking out his other works.

4.3 Interesting concept but it doesn't really do enough with it and by the half-way mark along with the intro I realised something which completely blew away the tension. Also having getting the other endings and achievements they weren't really that great overall.

a decent indie horror game, though some of the 'clues' are kinda ridiculous and obscure. definitely better than the devs more recent entries
