You take on the role of Clarke, a non-binary marble (yes, a marble XD) who's an artist living on the island of Liliana. Clarke is having artist's block, so they're hoping that finding a muse will inspire them to create art again. As Clarke is going about the city, they meet up with several marbles, such as Lilco (Clarke's best friend who wants to be a star athlete performing at Marble Palooza, a gigantic sporting event) and Tony (a single dad who works at home to support his daughter). Will Clarke be able to find their muse and create art again? Perhaps, along the way, Clarke may find friendship or even romance. ^^ With the gameplay, plenty of choices are presented throughout the story. Hatoful Boyfriend worked in large part for two reasons: first, because it was a genuinely good VN that just happened to be about talking pigeons (well, talking pigeons and Okosan); and second, because when Hatoful Boyfriend was released, the idea of a romance game but the love interests were all birds was genuinely unique. But since then, there's been a glut of games taking Hatoful's basic conceit (romance but it's [i]wacky[/i]) and putting their own spin on it: other animals, inanimate objects, the works. So going in I was a bit skeptical of A Marble's Muse, especially since it seems to be referencing a YouTube channel I'm not really familiar with. But I enjoyed the previous game I played by the developer (Fling with a Tiefling), so I was willing to keep an open mind. Loveable and relatable characters, great writing that combines a sense of humor with relatable topics, and a lovely artstyle! I am very invested in the marbleverse and Tony is my husband. We're getting marbe married next month. You're all invited

I enjoyed this game despite me not getting all of the achievements. I think thanks to this game being comedic, i could forgive some of the cliches in some of the routes. the art is fine for what this is going for. I think the devs could get this verified for the Steamdeck, because i was able to play this on mine well.

This is a cute little story to read ! i really like it ! and god the fact that is marble is SO great ! i want to see more of them !
