Rightwing propaganda in comic-book form. Actually an exceptionally nice and educational piece at that. :) Beautiful drawings. Not exactly a game, but an image slideshow, with some sound effects and varying font size - because its all image based. But lets now get to the emotional hooks of the story telling here. Pre world war one. Serbs are going to unite the Slavic nations to stand up against the evil empire. One of the main characters is called "princip" (Prince), because his grandfather was such a swell and upright guy, that that became the family trait. From a humble family allowed to study in the city - getting involved with a revolutionary student union, getting expelled for it, once protests become violent, moving back to his homeland al blood and honory - kissing the earth, you know the drill. Renting a little flat - where the cockroaches also are fugitives. Proud fellow, too proud to ask for money for the bus fare. Trying to get his life back on track, he has to wear a Fez, because the government only hires the Fez wearing kind, then getting fired, because he denounces the Fez (Islam). Meeting a swell secret society fellow, having a conversation with him, that he isnt as m…12 found this helpful
A Matter of Principle is a VN centralizing a historical figure named Gavrilo Princip, an individual indirectly causing a war which affected the world at large. Here we see him at his childhood all up to his legacy and what made this person to become who he was. This visual novel has a couple of grammar mistakes, leading me to be a bit confused at the events I was viewing. I believe these will be fixed in no time anyway. I feel AMOP could have been a bit better by having each chapter the same exact attention, although most of them are accompanied by a question and multiple answers if that is your sort of thing. The art is alright, drawings done by pen or similar tools are always great.1 found this helpful
DISCLAIMER: This is a full review, and NOT a first impressions review

PLEASE NOTE: I recommended this game with some exceptions, overall if the game did not live up to just a tiny expectation, I would not have recommended it at all, so please read the review carefully if you are thinking of buying/playing this game
A Matter of Principle is a game developed and published by DillyFrame The game offers some nice graphics and a nice aesthetic, although basic when it comes to gameplay (if you can call it that), it is pleasant all the same A Matter of Principle overall, however, is an okay historical visual novel game to play in short bursts! A digital comic book about the two individuals and the event that eventually led to World War I. Gavrilo's early years, his education, and finally the tragic event are covered. Franz Ferdinand, who was on the opposing side, had his own issues to deal with. If you count the interlude and epilogue, the story will be spread throughout 15 chapters, so it won't take much of your time. An individual chapter may take you roughly 5 minutes to read, depending on your reading speed. However, even this time may vary because each chapter has a varied number of frames. There are some grammar errors in the text. A missing word or a wrong tense, nothing too serious. The artwork is excellent, and each chapter is accompanied by ambient music that adds greatly to the experience. The music is always different and has Bosnian or Austrian tones. The story is still simple to follow because the speaker of each sentence is marked, even without voice narration. Some sound effects, including bells and laughter, are so rare that it is not important to mention them. Once you've finished reading the story, there's no reason to do so again. A quiz with 10 questions for each of the two characters is over quic…1 found this helpful
