It's the year 1000 and the war between angels and devils for the Earth has begun. Choose your side, grow your population of humans and expand your realm. In this strategy game everything is in real time, and time is a precious resource to manage.
You have a time budget and 7 missions to complete. Use your time wisely.
Your cities will need resources to expand and sometimes managing their logistic will get quite challenging. Use resources to produce the equipment for your army and craft magic items.
Define your strategy choosing the equipment for your soldiers. You can keep them safe with shields and armors, equip them with offensive or defensive scrolls, give them potions for the worse situations. Your units will decide by themselves how to use their inventory and how to attack the enemy.

A Thousand Years surprised me in the best way. The mix of strategy and cool visuals hits just right, and it’s got enough depth to keep you hooked without being overwhelming. For the price, it’s a chill find that’s worth checking out if you’re into something a little different1 found this helpful
Very interesting concept, I got drawn in pretty quickly into the storyline. You play as angels vs the devils over the span of a thousand years. Producing units, escorting them across the world and conquering the enemy in little auto-battled skirmishes. You need to gather resources to expand your cities and improve on the units and items they can carry. Tutorial is nice and fast, shows the core mechanics very well, I recommend starting with that. The difficulty level is pretty well balanced, I had to startegize on the Hard difficulty, some of the wins didn't come easy. I haven't finished the campaign yet, but it seems like it's easily over 10h of content in total + you can then continue playing in sandbox or mission modes. I haven't encountered any bugs along the way, which is impressive for an Early Access game! I just wish there was a way to fast forward some of activities to make the gameplay more dynamic during some of the intermissions, but other than that - it's a solid game that you will enjoy!1 found this helpful
very entertaining as a war game, you have to conquer, manage, evolve and craft, all with a lovely board game art style
