This game scratches all of the itches that a deck builder scratches without all of the bad bits of a deck builder. Difficulty scales nicely and there's a lot of variety in play style commander to commander. Definitely can recommend.
This is a very charming RTS, in which you build your horde of minions to face against the enemy horde of minions until one of the two sides loses all their buildings. It's a simple concept but varied in its execution, with 30 total commanders you can unlock (good luck actually unlocking them all though).
Such a nice little gem of a game. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did but before I knew it I got all of the achievements. It has the perfect amount of mechanics for me and doesn't try to overcomplicate things. There's lots of different commanders to choose from and buildings to focus. I'd say the only two negatives I have are the lack of maps - there's only 4 of them - and the dwarf race just feels so weak compared to the other two. Overall a nice game, I enjoyed my time. It doesn't overstay its welcome and never felt grindy even with the chaos 60 achievement.
I had always wanted to try out an RTS game, but could never really find one that I could start with and ease into the genre with...that is, until now. In this game, it's all about managing your base and arranging your facilities on the fly to create synergies to summon and power up your units. Each Commander has their own unique abilities, so you'll need to change up your strategy depending on which one you choose, so there's many ways to play to keep things from getting stale. So if you're looking for a very beginner friendly RTS game to dip your toes in to get a feel for what they're like, I can highly recommend this one ^^
Very nice and fun game. Reminded me of some starcraft custom games, where you each have your base and mobs spawn until someone wins.
