A War of a Madman's Making

A very... interesting, short experience in what I've taken to calling the 'Soviet/Dictatorship Nightmare Simulator' minigenre of games, stuff like this game, Papers Please, and the Beholder series. These game's can be measured on how well they sell the horrible desperation of their protagonists in my eyes, and War of a Madman's Making does it quite well. Not ordinarily my kind of game, and not enjoyable exactly, but if you are in the right headspace, very enriching.

I know 3 countries in Eastern Europe that are exactly like this today.

This game Is great. I played for a wile and there are multiple engaging endings to play. If you like the Challenge of wartime politics than this game will be very fun to play. 10/10

The writing is quite good and not without its humor. If you can stomach rough graphics and some not too great music (which you can mute) give this a try. My playtime is misleading since I'd lost internet connection while playing (for hours).
