About A War of a Madman's Making
This is A War of a Madman's Making: A combination of Visual Novel and text-based RPG centered around war planning and political survival, inspired by games like Suzerain and Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa.
War of a Madman's Making is set in a fictional world where nuclear escalation has blackened the skies. You are a citizen who has been mysteriously called up to serve as Field Marshal of the Great Leader's army. Through a combination of resource management, political maneuvering, and strategic military planning, you must survive the impending war - and the purges and assassinations that will come along with it.
You have the freedom to be ruthless in your methods, but doing so too freely could have consequences - particularly if you face a tribunal for crimes against humanity. However, mismanage your resources pursuing nobler causes, and you'll find a similar fate at the hands of your beloved Great Leader.
Rein in the disaster, protect your family, and survive the purges.

Very cool with a great mood, a fun and interesting game.
For a free game, this quite nice and well done, it had a somewhat realistic-ish political sim
with just about everyone having their own agenda, and unwilling to share their victory with someone that helped them (us).
the choices although some were unimportant was nice touch and give this a small roleplay aspect to play who we wish to be to some degree. My biggest gripe at best is the amount of endings at moment of writing this review but considering the dev is open to more endings this probably be rectified in the future, the other gripe is the art style it has it's charm but a bit rough on the edges but this is free game so it's a pass from me.
personally I would really like a ending with us seizing power without the other's help, possibly with our best guy Artur or another were we outmaneuvered the others while winning the war and being on the good side of The Great Leader, of course through absurd effort on the player's part.
Otherwise this game is great for a free game. Hail Gutan or Peace on Earth
Good political sim with good writing. Suzerain's little brother trying it's best, and it doesn't do a bad job considering its free and had a much smaller team and time and budget.
An excellent little free VN that has surprisingly many endings. The dev said they would like to expand in the future a bit as well, give it a go!
amazing game very unique with some interesting lore and good characters siimilar to suzerain in its nature yet diffrent in its own right would 100% recommend
An excellent game
