Sector 49 is located in Nevada, also known as Sayer Kograde, a town temporarily established during World War II.

Sector 49, now abandoned like a wasteland, was established to conduct classified research, with scientific personnel and funding coming from private organizations.

In the medium to large map of Sector 49, you will travel to different locations, solve puzzles, with the ultimate goal of collecting 10 consciousnesses and opening the portal.

The story takes place in 1984 in a multiverse world.

You can freely switch between first-person and third-person perspectives.

As a solo developer, guidance is relatively weak, please understand.

This game includes relatively easy reasoning elements.

Made by a Solo Independent Developer

Welcome to the puzzle game world of QZQ Studio. Sector 49 is the fifth episode of the Abnormal1999 game series, my latest series. I am an avid solo game developer named Q. I have been developing mystery puzzle games and enjoy what I do. I am active on social media and in groups, feel free to communicate with me.

Abnormal1999 Series

Abnormal1999 is a series of independent games developed by QZQ Studio, based on a sci-fi background of quantum mechanics and the multiverse, incorporating elements of exploration, horror, puzzle-solving, and reasoning.

The protagonist is a girl named SU. The story revolves around her and her family. SU, for some reason, can freely travel through the fourth dimension. She wants to figure out what happened and find a way home.

In this process, she uses this ability to travel to different times and spaces in parallel universes, meeting various people and things, encountering various branches, leading to different realities.

The Abnormal1999 series adopts a continuous update model, with one episode updated each month, to tell SU's story and adventures.

This game, "Sector 49," is the fifth episode of the first season of the Abnormal1999 series. It features super challenging mystery puzzles.

The first four episodes are "With in the Obscurity" "Apartment of Death" "SU," and "Hyperspace."

In this series, you can enter the Abnormal1999 series from any episode, and I will provide a fresh experience in each episode.

Explore the Vast Wasteland World:

The town has many little-known secrets for you to explore. What secrets are hidden behind these classified research projects? You need to uncover them step by step.

Sam comes here to find an answer, both for himself and for his daughter.

Solve High-Difficulty Puzzles and Collect Consciousness:

Solving puzzles and collecting consciousness is the only way to complete the game.

It's another good looking, where do I go, what do I do game. There's a difference between too much hand holding and none at all, the developer seems to be just pounding out half baked games like "Apartment of death" which just came out like a week ago with the exact same mechanic system and clue tree, although this game has a third person view, Apartment of Death has first person view. I also had the same "where do i go, what do I do" issues with that game. In fact I could have just copy and pasted my review from that game here. I gave a thumbs up to the last game but i feel like i just can't do it again, sorry. (first look and review) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hylfuKLTcLM

No hand-holding and lack of any clues or hints might make the game hard to play or even finish. There are also too many bugs. The next game in the deductive and investigative series. Although each game may be played individually and does not require knowledge of the others, there are some connections between them that make the experience of playing the games in order more fulfilling. This time you play a man Sam who’s looking for her daughter. Compared to previous game where you jumped to several smaller locations, now you explore a big and open area. The place is dead so you’ll be welcomed by ruins and neglected structures. Though walking around may seem tedious at first, you will soon discover an armlet that allows you to drag yourself in the direction of the mouse cursor. The rules are to stand out in the open and point to the ground. You will also get additional gear, such a bracelet for moving things out of the way and interacting with colored marks, and a headlamp for shining a light in dark areas. The objective remains the same from previous games. Your task is to explore and look for clues. For those unfamiliar with the series, this is a very hard game. First challenge…

There are zero instructions and clues about what to do. It looks good, but it's not fun to just walk around aimlessly.
