About Abtos Covert
"Abtos Covert man, I'm tellin' you. Easiest post there is, just a few nights and you're off the hook. Only the outpost, a small shrine and the rest of the forest can be seen...
What did you say? Strange shadows? Weird sounds? Paranormal activities? Those are just legends, bedtime stories man! There's no way there is stuff like that out there!"
Abtos Covert is a survival horror game in which you play the role of a soldier keeping guard on a remote outpost out in the woods. You must keep your wits while searching for the truth. Fend off the mysterious entities attacking the outpost and find clues from previous soldiers who had the same shift and survived every night. Things will only get harder as you progress, so stay vigilant. Can you survive every night and discover the truth behind the stories, or will you become part of the legend?
Well soldier, seems like you're that guy. You drew the short straw and now you are to be stationed in the Abtos Covert outpost, a place commonly known for being quiet. But the moment it actually happens, the rest of the platoon is whispering: "Haven't you heard the stories?", "...heard someone disappeared there...".
The stories about that place are innumerable. Human sacrifices, shadows running in the trees and souls still lost that sing a dreary song. When you ask your superior, he just laughs it off...
In Abtos Covert, the gameplay is an immersive blend of psychological tension and strategic survival. Your primary objective: survive the night. You are equipped with just cameras and motion sensors to alert you to the horrors that stalk the night. Make quick decisions: use your spotlight to reveal threats or hide and pray you're overlooked. Listen for distinctive enemy sounds; each one requires a different survival strategy. With limited power, every choice you make could plunge you into lethal darkness. Each night grows more terrifying, forcing you to adapt, strategize, and confront the haunting truth that looms in the shadows. Will you survive, or become the next cautionary tale?
The Photo Mode is available with a variety of adjustable options making it easier than ever to take screenshots from the mysterious outpost. Consider uploading your screenshots to the Steam Community Hub and on Social Media mentioning us as @iphigames.

Disappointing, this was on my wishlist for a long time. Just an asset-store flip FNAF clone. decent atmosphere, serviceable pacing and scares, but it just throws random ass monsters like werewolves and creepy little girls that make no-sense in what little has been established by the "plot". Just whatever creepy assets the dev could repurpose, same with the animations, just awkward and clipping, feels very lazy and cobbled together. Also runs really bad for what it is. Avoid, there's nothing worth experiencing here.1 found this helpful
What is the point of this game? I genuinely don't understand. Is the whole point that we got stuck at a strange outpost? Is there a story? Anything? There's no... grab. Then add onto that the fact that there's very little instruction, and a whole lot of wait-around-for-something-to-happen, and it's just... meh. Walking simulators have more action that this. I feel like this wants to be FNAF, but isn't. This is probably a great game for some people, but for me, it's not. I made it through the first night, have a good idea how to make it through the second night, but I just cannot be bothered to stand around and wait for things to happen... again.1 found this helpful
Very atmospheric game, it puts you in the shoes of the role of guarding an outpost. But I will not hide that I encountered some crashes and where I was playing I was losing. Seeing other streamers playing this game, I noticed that they leave it at night 2 (I managed to get there on the 4th night). It is very difficult to go further because the game randomly throws enemies at you and many times even if you do what you have to do in the game, you are doomed to lose because everything comes out at the same time. I would like better management of this issue from the developers because it becomes annoying not being able to progress in the game. I know it is a difficult indie game, but especially after the 3rd night you have no hope of progressing because the ΑI of the game does not leave you any room to win, even with power saving and many other things. I would like to This problem could be improved with some future update from the developers, because I don't want to believe that everyone gets stuck at this point.1 found this helpful
This game gave me anxiety and almost a heart attack!1 found this helpful
One of the best horror games I played in a while well done
Had high hopes for this game, can't even play it. Running an inconsistent 20 - 40 frames per second on a 1080, despite minimum requirements saying 1060. This game is just poorly optimized and staring at the red mug in the map room is enough to take 20 frames from me. I have motion blur off. The mouse is jittery to control because of the inconsistent framerate because I couldn't even reach the cap I set, which was the last straw for me. Maybe I'll be back one day with either a better computer, or after this is optimized better.
