From the creators of The Book of Regrets, Synodic Arc teams up with Abyssmal Games to create an underwater survival horror game. Set in the depths of the Bermuda Triangle, you are sent by D.I.V.E.S (Divers Investigating Various External Signals), a government-funded organization, to investigate a mysterious underwater signal. The first thing to keep in mind is that Abyss of Neptune is free. Yes, it could be better or more serious or have more consistent tone or any other number of complaints. But it's free. I had a good time with it, honestly it was a neat, little survival horror with interesting mechanics and gameplay I enjoyed. Easy recommend because, you know, it doesn't cost anything? If you don't like it, just uninstall and find something else.3 found this helpful

I love indie games, and I'm sorry to leave a negative review for this one, but trying to beat it was exceptionally tedious. Normally, it's fun to learn the maps in games, but something was off here, mb the need for backtracking idk. Navigating was simply uninteresting. Also, the main character constantly got stuck on the corners of some objects while collecting the harpoons, which made the final boss fight super frustrating. That made me not wanna finish the game. The little puzzle with Armenian letters was cool tho lol
I enjoyed however much I played. I only stopped because I just got too afraid and realized that cozy games are more my style. This is a free game so I'm not comparing it to expensive games. I did enjoy the graphics, the setting, the scenery, the story, and I would have continued playing if I wasn't too scared of the horror genre.
it's a tuesday afternoon and I'm bored. I install and boot up a game I've been sitting on for years. I spend the ENTIRE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TIME fiddling with the mouse sensitivity only to realize 60 is a snail's pace and 65 is so fast a light touch of the mouse turns it. The lightest tap of the movement keys also launch you forward at supersonic speed without pressing shift. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ.
I don't really like the concept to be under water all the game 🤷🏼♂️
