About AcShooting
A 2D action and shooting game created by students.
The key is the shape of the main character! If the shape changes, the game changes too! ?
It's usually a normal side-scrolling game, but when you change its shape, it instantly transforms into a shooting game where you can move around in all directions.
Solve the stage gimmicks, defeat the enemies, and aim for the goal!

"AcShooting" is a poorly made student project from Japan... and unfortunately the students failed, bringing great dishonour to their clans. But seriously this is a very poorly made 2D pixel platformer with a gimmick. What do you do in the game? Aside from basic 2D platforming, you can "phase shift" between a square and a rhombus/diamond shape, which moves various matching blocks in and out of phase. This lets you traverse through obstacles or make platforms available to you depending on which phase you're in. You know, if I was teaching students how to do game development, the first thing I'd teach them is that 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid 1990's when cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3 were being installed everywhere. But in 2023, apparently Japan didn't have 3D graphics cards at their game dev schools. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. …1 found this helpful
