AISZplus is not an essential STG, neither its developer had the ambition of revolutionize the scene, being a small project created in his spare time. But at the same time, it's much more than its screenshots make it seem at a first glance. With a fifth level which is one of the most memorable final levels in the genre, having a level of creativity and sense of awe that reminds the grand finale of Metal Black. Its second half is so good, that at the end it let us a bad taste of mouth. Because the first two levels are rather generic in comparison, and too easy. It doesn't help that its scoring system is too simple, not having a second layer of depth that forces us to play in a risky way to obtain better scores. Talking about the difficulty level, this is a great STG for beginners, with a balance that reminds us Terarin Games (not as easy in its final level, thought). After a couple of plays to learn its mechanics, I obtained a 1CC in my third try. And believe me, I'm not a super player in the genre. Very cool stylistic shmup from the creator of the awesome short beat-em-ups Yumecore and ADEN, in the style of freeware shmups like Warning Forever and Tumiki Fighters. To me this is a fair challenge, and goes in the "easier shmups" category alongside ZeroRanger and Warning Forever. Probably too easy for 1cc junkies.

This game is beautiful and well worth buying at full price, its only 4 euro!! Playing on Steam Deck which is amazing, the sound is great on it for the game and also can easily map the Shift key to one of the normal A,Y,X,B buttons, thanks to other reviewers for mentioning the focus shot as I wouldn't have noticed!!

Music is pretty good, I'm terrible at this type of game but I managed to beat it after a few tries so it has a good difficulty for newcomers.

Sweet little bite of a game. This game presentation and design is immaculate, everything just clicks to give you a lil short but memorable experience. The soundtrack is funky, the gameplay be it simple, is very engaging and fun and I may be biased because I like retro looking junk, but the vector graphics style of the game just giddies me up. I fully recommend this game if you want something that won't take much time but still feels great to play.

Siample but very fun bullethell. Altho the visuals can look a bit rough in the images of steam, it hides an incredible style, and the mix of colors make the end of this adventure an extremely satisfactory one. The only real complain i have with it is that you canst change your controls wich is really annoying if you prefer to play with wasd instead of the direction keys.
