The kind of game you think there'd be more of after Half-Life 2. A lot of physics manipulation in combat, a good variety of weapons, and nicely reactive enemies. Has two main modes, one is a linear campaign, the other a more open-ended exploratory mission-based mode in open areas. There's a demo so consider giving it a shot.

Yo, awesome game. But what the heck. I can only carry 2 primary guns and a sidearm? With a game with so many awesome gun choices you should add a game mode allowing the player to carry AT LEAST 5 primary guns. You know how you have like enemies throw more grenades or don't get scared. Add CARRY MORE GUNS (I understand maybe not for main campaign but ZONE PATROL NEEDS MORE WEAPONS ON HAND) to that section and I'd def play this more. The enemy spawn rate in zone patrol is a bit crazy with only 2 available guns and a side arm. It'd be fine if I had more fire power. And YO LET ME AIM EVERY GUN 😭😭 make alternative fire a different button.

I played this with Vxkex-Next under Win 7 on a old FX8350 machine with a RTX3050 8GB and 16GB RAM in 1080p with maxed out visuals and had to start the EXE directly from the explorer. Hence the redicolous low playcount. Anyway,i played the campaign and the zone patrol. I agree with many players that zone patrol is the better part of the game, although the campaign is good too and should be played first. The core gameplay is spot on. The mapping is very good and optimised. At no point i had less than perfectly smooth gameplay. While the campaign is linear and has a playtime of a decent HL2 medium campaign mod, zone patrol has more depth - conceptual as well as gameplaywise - and offers way more playtime. Imho for its price this game is well worth it and i wonder why it is not better known among genre players.

A fun indie shooter with a half-life inspired campaign and creative weaponry. Also you always have a gravity gun in your off-hand, and there is a surprising amount of weapon variety. Campaign will last you about 7 hours now that act 3 is out, plus the optional side mode is good fun as well. An easy recommendation for people who love 2000's era shooters like Half-Life and Halo.

A fun mix of homage to Half-Life 2, Halo, and STALKER. The gunplay felt super good, the levels never overstayed their welcome. A lot of fun and super inspiring.
