About AESIR Online

AESIR Online

AESIR Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed in GODOT Engine by a group of friends from Argentina. It was inspired by a game created in 1999 called Argentum Online.

The adventure takes place mainly in the initial world called Midgard, an open world of medieval fantasy. Players can perform all kinds of actions, such as exploring the world, collecting raw materials, crafting their own equipment, trading with other players, fighting creatures, etc.

Through the different actions mentioned above, our character will gain experience and level up, unlocking new worlds to explore, skills, and items.

There is a wide variety of combat types, and players can choose from 6 races (appearance, attributes, strengths, and weaknesses of the character) and 9 classes (combat style of the character) combinations.

The game will never be P2W (pay-to-win).

✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the game's aesthetic and setting but are consistently frustrated by unclear instructions, poor translations, and confusing combat controls that make basic gameplay difficult to understand. Beyond presentation issues, the game suffers from serious technical problems including server access errors, a dead multiplayer community with no meaningful single-player alternative, and a requirement for a third-party account that raises privacy concerns—leaving most players with a forgettable, mediocre experience that fails to deliver despite initial promise.
Warning: Third Party Account This game requires you to create a third party "Own database" account... there's no valid reason for this in a PC game when SteamWorks is available. This is often done to harvest private data and profile you, with potential sale and transmission of your private data to third parties. The developers will probably argue that you can trust them, but if they were trustworthy they wouldn't demand you create a third party account. This represents a considerable risk to gamers due to the privacy and security implications of developers that wish to bypass Steam and harvest user data. Remember, sometimes if the product is free, YOU are the product.

Note: Dead multiplayer game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no players, no populated servers. This multiplayer-only game cannot be played as intended.
This was a dismally failed attempt to make a ripoff of Argentum Online (itself barely, if at all successful) and is the pinnacle of game design from Argentina. Unfortunately it's garbage. So, "AESIR Online" is a dead multiplayer game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! …

Either I'm a big dumb-dumb, or this game isn't ready yet. I couldn't get passed the tutorial. I could not tell what the game was asking me to do. The translations were also not very good.

Ever played a game for 11.2 hours out of boredom and expecting it to eventually get better, then when you go to write a review 5 months later you can't recall a single thing about the game because of how utterly mediocre it was? I have. It's this game.

"Server restricted to administrators." I'm getting this message whenever I try to login. Can't find the option for single player. Anyone!?
