Aftershock: Coastline

Kinda sad it was over so soon. If a full version came out I would be interested. However during credits there was a "AI Director," not so cool. EDIT: Thank you Alex for the clarification that there was no Generative AI used and I apoligize for the assumption. Just want to reiterate to anyone reading to please download and give this a try!

i must say, this is a good game and well made for a free game... the story is okay but the game is good, i must say for some people the hints might be not enough

Atmospheric, short and neat! Was fun, would like to see this expanded in to a full game some day maybe with more polishing, more guns and levels! Only issue I really had was poor framerate at times and buggy physics

Just like in my review for Alex Rassloff's Barbotine; "There is a potential here for something bigger and greater." However, with Aftershock: Coastline, I don't feel like I can recommend playing it. The vibe is still there, but it isn't enough. The combat was clunky and unsatisfying. Going through the same few floors felt aimless. The story was there a bit through the notes but the game ultimately felt like a let down. There was a moment where I become really excited after finding the yellow key. I could see a huge eldritch-like creature in the distance. Giant tentacles and human arms reaching up toward the sky. But that was all it was. A taste, but no flavor.
