About Ahri and Bear
Ahri and Bear is a 3D puzzle adventure game, where players will take control of Ahri the cat and Bear the dog who embark on an emotional journey together to find their true home. Use Ahri and Bear's unique abilities to navigate through the daunting human world so they can find their way back home.
-The Journey Home-
Explore the massive human city of Eastview as Ahri and Bear while setting out on a quest to return home. Best friends need to stick together on this journey so use all of your wit to solve the obstacles that await Ahri and Bear in the human world.
-Puzzles-
Use Ahri and Bear's special individual skills in order to guide them through the city. Ahri's night vision allows her to see clearly in dark areas, while Bear's strength allows him to tackle heavy obstacles with ease. Climb, sniff, and even bark your way through the hardships of the world.
-Stealth-
Some humans might think Ahri and Bear are "Lost Pets" and might try to deliver them to an animal shelter. Use Ahri's cat-like stealth and Bear's canine courage to avoid these humans during your adventure.

"Ahri and Bear" is an almost charming Unreal Engine asset flip where you control a dog or a cat asset through asset flipped environments to do some 3D platforming. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Ahri and Bear Positives: + Ok idea + Has a cat in it (always a plus) + Some of the graphics is acceptable + Its short (over in half an hour) + Ok voiceover + Its free Negatives: - A lot of bugs and glitches (some gamebreaking) - You get stuck everywhere, fall thru the terrain etc. - Weird and cluncky controls - Stiff and unnatural animations - Some of the graphics is quite bad - Weird story - No hints on what to do next - Absolutely no save game or checkpoint system (if you get caught or stuck because of bugs, you must start all over) - The music gets repetitive too fast - Not so fun (especially starting over because of the problems mentioned above) Unless you are desperate for a new free cat & dog game, look elsewhere. [h1]Before I played Ahri and Bear, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]
