Not the best AVN out there but shows promise. The writing and lighting are not great and the MC character looks like a bit of a doofus... but it is so bad that it is good. Solid 6.5/10. For the price worth the money.

Altered Bloodlines is a mature visual novel that combines romance, crime, conspiracy, and explicit adult material within a story centered on an FBI investigation. Developed and published by Dream Cloud Entertainment, it tries to provide more narrative substance than a straightforward adult game by surrounding its relationships with kidnapping cases, dangerous criminals, personal secrets, and difficult choices. The result is an experience aimed primarily at players who enjoy character-driven visual novels where dialogue and relationships are just as important as uncovering the larger mystery. The story follows James Ackerman, a 37-year-old FBI agent whose name can be customized. James awakens in a hospital after being injured during an operation to rescue six kidnapped young women. His FBI partner Sarah Lockwood and Boston Police detectives Luke Robinson and Hannah Powers were also involved in the case. Although the rescue appears successful, the investigation soon suggests that the kidnappings are connected to something considerably larger. Good game needs longer updates

its pretty good so far, have only played it for a little bit as of this review... no background music or audio as such, which would make things far better... (setting mood and making things slightly more 'immersive' for lack of a better term [at the moment]) like most VN's there is no VO work sadly, but that often does not detract from the game... although i think this is more of KVN since there are very few choices so far...
