So I did finish this game, but it somehow still feels like I didn't. I got all the CGs, I got all the good endings, I tried a few bad endings and I spoke to a lot of NPCs and visited all the locations in different order/at different times of night. But something feels undiscovered still. In Lover's Enigma, our protagonist's husband died 3 months prior to the story. It was more a marriage of convenience to prevent MC's mother from harrassing her to find love. However, the two were friends and so now MC is living in limbo, unable to find joy in life and just passing each day meaninglessly. Though she doesn't believe his death was a suicide, his body hasn't been found and she takes it upon herself to continue the investigation. The story involves three other characters that you can team up with to solve the mystery and multiple endings. As a mild spoiler, the game is plot > romance and
whilst there are declarations of love, there is no kiss CG. The most we get is a hug CG in Ryota's route.
As is typical for me, the mystery of the game really kept me going. I was so drawn in by what secrets the town held that I just wanted to keep going and going to understand wh…

My friend recommended this game to me and I bought it blindly, I didnt know that it was a horror game and as a person who isnt a fan of horror stuff, it was quite the experience 🤣 I only knew about the love interests and I started the game with Kazuki in mind but I was so disheartened when I finished the game and realized he doesn't have a route. I thought he'd have one since he appears with the other 3 love interests 🥺 I like the game but it kind of left me wanting more. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a horror mystery game, but the romance part... I want more to be honest. Even after choosing another love interest, I feel like the mc still can't let go of her husband. (I did one route btw) Overall, the game is fun and the storytelling is great in my opinion.

This game has been such an experience and the horror aspect of it is a cherry on top. I love all of the characters and they are all connected to each other in a way. The dialogues and the interaction they have for the MC. Love how there is a time mechanic with the flip phone making the experience of the game more fun, exploration and checking each corners of the map to meet or talk to the love interests or other characters. Music, sound effects and the characters overall are nice. I personally think Ryota is the best character based on lore, development, dialogue choices and art overall. I cannot get myself to not choose Ryota when doing the other character's routes. The plot twists and the animations in this are amazing, it has been a beautiful experience as a player who played all types of otomes and visual novels since high school.

I really wanted to love this game but after finding out I really completed the whole game I was left with "thats it?" So many questions, plot points, and set ups left untouched and left bare boned. The omukade does a horrendous job of actually executing his motivation to make a FL his. Hes literally just "You're the reason this is happening, you promised to love me, so love me." And no actions taken. Like brother you have her husband's body and you dont even try to fool her? You dont try to make advances on her emotions for the body you hold? The option to turn off jump scares was exciting to me but after only getting 2 attempts where only 1 got me...I really thought there'd be more or something better with an option like that. If I had to be honest I loved the game at first and tried to ignore the voice in the back of my mind that was saying " this way of dismissing big details, making some conflicting statements, repeating information in a repetitive way, and making me ask my self "does this make sense or did miss something in all my playthroughs?" Could this game have been written with AI? I used to rp with Ai and thought it was cool until I began to recognize and un…

Normally I'm not a big fan of games with a lot of lore, but this one was different! So far, I've done the 3 main routes (still trying to get the secret route..) and I've loved them both (Ren and Ryota being my favorite loll) Genuinely an amazing game and I loved the "Breaking the 4th wall" part with the Omukade! The story is really interesting, I'm not a huge fan of reading but I was fully locked in and enjoying it! Def did NOT cry a bunch of times...haha... Anyways.. I can't wait to finish the game fully!!!
