A game that I played when I was in college. I think this was the first visual novel game that I ever played.

I'll be honest... this is a pretty tough game for me to review. On one hand, I have a lot of nostalgia for it. I remember trying to play it over 12 years ago and enjoying it for what it was. On the other hand, I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible, and it's hard to ignore just how much this game has aged. The music is actually pretty good. I especially enjoyed the main theme by Christina Vee. Throughout the game, you'll hear several remixes of the same song, including a techno remix, a hip-hop remix, and an instrumental version. Although the soundtrack can still get repetitive, I appreciate that they put in the effort to include multiple versions of the main theme instead of looping the exact same track over and over. The concept itself is really cute, and I still think it has its charm. If you enjoy visual novels or dating sims like Backstage Pass, Clannad, or Hatoful Boyfriend, there's a chance you'll find something to like here as well. The artwork is cute, but the image quality hasn't held up particularly well. Many of the CGs look blurry or pixelated by today's standards. On the outset, two teenagers getting into a motorcycle accident with no protective gear and living with minor injuries and some selective amnesia is the most interesting thing that happens in this game. I remember playing the demo for this when the only games I owned for the computer were The Sims 3, Ella's Hope, and Cute Knight. This was very clear in my mind from back in the day where English Otome game's for teenage girls were mostly limited to free flash games from the 2010s. This game is most certainly a relic of that time. Story wise, the premise of an amnesiac boyfriend forgetting about you and essentially having the option to just date from the harem of men around you is a very dramatic set up, but the story itself isn't particularly dramatic. It's fairly one-note and fluffy, with the expected tropes of a materialistic ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ex getting in the way of the main love interest along with his disapproving father plotting on your downfall. This game could probably have benefited from choosing to nix the raising sim elements in favor for the dating sim focus and just expanding on these story concepts.
