About American University Life ~Welcome Week!~

American University Life ~Welcome Week!~ is a short kinetic visual novel following a freshman student at his first week in college. Join him and meet four other students, explore the campus and the beautiful Leuther Island!
Freshman student Skye arrives at Leuther Island to attend school at the University of Leuther Island. It's like a dream. The dormitories are villas right out of a tropical getaway magazine. The dining hall is a restaurant that serves gourmet food buffet style. There's even a golf course and five star gym? What doesn't this school have?
Wait a minute, what was that?
...There are only five students at this school?
Our new students were all looking forward to their new life at college. As the only students here, how will they make the best of it? In peace and quiet? Shut away in their own rooms? Or will they discover new friendships and bonds in such an intimate setting?

This review is going to be a neutral one. American University Life ~Welcome Week!~ is a nice short kinetic novel but it's more of a premise of the story. So it's really hard to judge. We play as a male MC who comes at a rather great university and is going to live in a dorm with four girls. Studying starts only in a week, so we get a nice opportunity to learn more about our roommates, to realize that everything is not that simple, that behind their easygoingness hides vulnerable nature. It'll take only about 2 hours to read. I have too many questions at the end of this first part. But as it's just the beginning I can't possibly complain about any plot holes, I hope everything will be explained later. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1725616812 By the way, the game was released on August, 1 in 2018. In a week the dev posted: “All this sounds fun and all, but from my end it is a very expensive journey to take. I'd like to apologize and say that hopes for AUL's sequel will take some time, so that I may work up the budget and work quality that is worth your time and money. I really loved this VN as it is a nice slice of life, funny and serious in places I do understand and it does feel like it is meant to be a first in a series (which might not happen) i do think it is worth checking out as it is very enjoyable in its own right The game itself has no choices but like other series which is more story than game like Nekopara is still a very good story , which while it has nothing new to offer (in terms of story) it has very nice art and likeable characters and if they ever do have another in the series - it will be a must have for me and well worth the price1 found this helpful

Hi, just recently finished your visual novel. I enjoyed it very much. I hope that there will be future chapters that expand the story further through out there time at the university. Definitely would like to see more.:)1 found this helpful
