About Another Blue

Vtuber "Aoi Neno" was taking a nap in her room. When she woke up, she was on an unfamiliar beach. Suddenly feeling something was off, she looked over the water and saw herself wearing an apron! Will she be able to find a clue to get back to her room while experiencing various jobs? There are five mini-games that can be played using only the keyboard (memorization game, explosive game, quiz game) and a novel game part. Once you have cleared all the mini-games, you will be able to play the final stage (a shooting game). Maybe something good will happen if you clear it to the end...?

"Another Blue" is another bit of weaponized cringe as yet another fanboy simps over an internet non-ebrity, a V-tuber. If you don't know what a V-tuber is, it's basically a middle aged man who pretends to be a little anime girl on the internet for gaming streams. Anyway, the developer here really liked that V-tuber and as part of the simping process, took their likeness and character design without permission to make a derivative work... a cringey selection of minigames wrapped in some of the cringiest fan-fiction ever written by a high school anime club dropout. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might play in a web browser, and the problem there is obviously Steam wasn't intended to try compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it's not even close to a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That's a problem. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the…
