Very well crafted with a good story. Be warned though, it is DARK. Well worth the money.1 found this helpful
I HAVE NO IDAEA WTF IS GOING ON WITH THIS GAME.
Anthology of Fear, developed by OhDeer Studio and 100 GAMES and published by 100 GAMES and Gamersky Games, presents itself as a psychological horror experience that favors mood, ambiguity, and introspection over conventional gameplay or constant tension. The premise revolves around a man searching for his missing brother, but rather than delivering a straightforward narrative, the game unfolds in fragmented sequences that blur the line between reality and perception. From the very beginning, it becomes clear that the journey is less about solving a mystery in a traditional sense and more about navigating a deeply unsettling mental landscape. The game’s greatest strength lies in its atmosphere. It builds unease gradually through environmental design and sound rather than relying on overt scares or aggressive encounters. Dimly lit interiors, abandoned spaces, and subtle visual distortions create a lingering sense of discomfort that persists throughout the experience. The sound design plays a particularly important role, using distant noises, echoes, and silence to keep players on edge even during moments of inactivity. This approach makes the horror feel more psychological than phys…
I just finished the game and I am going to be honest. I am all over the place with this one. I am still trying to process what I played. I came out of the game with more questions then I had answers. I am not sure if I missed some Lore somewhere in there but... I was confused. I am confused. There were a bunch of jump scares at the beginning and then it got strange to by the end downright tragic. Give it a try when it goes on sale. Going to give this one a 5.5 out of 10. I will probably go back to it and see if I get the same feeling from it. Maybe having some fore knowledge will help... I dunno.
Good story, okayish scares, the atmosphere was nice, hear me out on the mannequins
9/10 Great story, puzzles, and creeps. Could not put this one down.
