About Anything But A Gun
In a workplace that's replaced all of its employees with AI workers battle through a corporate office building using a variety of weird objects, all except a gun. As you travel floor to floor, combat the AI takeover with your own creative power and win everyone their jobs back. The only rule? Anything But A Gun.In a run you'll encounter randomized room layouts filled with waves of enemies. Buy new weapons and upgrade them along the way, but make sure you have enough ammo too! The better you play the higher your score will go and you'll even see the world become more vibrant in real time. After three levels, you'll fight the boss - the head of the company. If you die at any point, you'll have to start over from the beginning, but don't worry. Every achievement you earn grants you a buff that persists across all your attempts. In Anything But A Gun when you die that's it. Your weapons, your progress, all of those things are lost... with a couple of exceptions. Our Achievements in the game make and change your future runs. Some simply give you extra health, others allow you to unlock the ability to promote weapons or buy ammo. The achievements change the game making you stronger on every progressive run. For our more concerned players, currently the game has access to the boss and the level selects. So if you die and wish you could continue, you can!Accessibility
Anything But A Gun includes controller support and in-game toggles for ammo, health, and currency, letting players adjust the experience to their preferred pace and difficulty. We are committed to expanding accessibility support over time. What Steam players say

Fun mindless arcade shooter. Good game to play when you don't know what to play.15 found this helpful
There are 3 main issues with this game: Firstly, the small, cluttered, low-quality environment mixed with the poorly executed 2D enemies makes for a jarring experience. The rough lighting doesn't help either, making the game feel more like someone's first unity project rather than a complete game. Secondly, the weapons aren't very creative for a game about using ANYTHING BUT A GUN!!! The most creative this game gets is with the cactus machine gun, but that doesn't even make sense. And finally, the fact that EVERYTHING is forced to follow an office theme that limits creativity. There are endless weapons to choose from when you're not limited to a theme, but by sticking to the office theme, you're unable to do anything over-the-top. 4/10. Too much wrong to really enjoy this.
Absolutely goated game; I don't know why a gem like this is free. My only problem is that it gets repetitive, especially at the start. I hope to see more maps and weapons (and maybe a weapon catalog that lists them all)!
quick, nice game
The idea is good, but very poorly executed. The sound design and music isn't great, but the weapons are original, though they can lack some weight behind them when shooting. Levels are way too cramped and enemies, though visually appealing, are quite bland and uninteresting. Could have done with some re-balancing.
i love playing unknown indie games and this one realy suprised me- after just one game i already feel the potential for this game
