Игра 'Aplowcalypse' – это неожиданно затягивающий и безумно смешной симулятор выживания после падения яблок. Да, звучит абсурдно, но именно эта абсурдность и создает уникальный игровой опыт. Графика простая, но приятная глазу, а геймплей, хоть и кажется поначалу примитивным, быстро раскрывает свою глубину: нужно строить убежище, собирать ресурсы (остерегаясь яблок!), крафтить оружие и инструменты, и, конечно же, отбиваться от яблочной угрозы. Больше всего порадовала юмористическая составляющая игры. Разработчики явно не боялись шутить над своим же творением, что добавляет очарования. Система крафта продумана достаточно хорошо, и всегда есть ощущение прогресса. Иногда сложно разобраться в интерфейсе, но это быстро компенсируется увлекательным геймплеем. В целом, 'Aplowcalypse' – это отличный вариант для тех, кто хочет расслабиться и посмеяться, не требующий глубокого вовлечения. Рекомендую всем любителям казуальных игр с изюминкой. Главное – не уроните яблоко!

"Aplowcalypse" is a badly made 2D retro top down shooter designed apparently for consoles but dumped on Steam instead. At least they're not trying to get paid for this, but you can see why it was a dismal failure. What do you do in the game? Basic top down shooting guff. The big selling point for this is you control a plow. Yeah, all the good ideas for video games were already taken, I guess. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded.
