About Apocalypse Truck Simulator

WAKE UP, TIME TO DRIVE!

The Apocalypse has reduced the world to a collection of small rocky outcrops scattered in The Toxic Sea. Known as The Remnant States, survivors cling to these islands in makeshift settlements in desperate of resources. As an elite driver for the 'Insane Jane Transport' company (IJT) you can help reshape the future of Humanity and help the settlers rebuild their communities.

REALISTIC PHYSICS

Apocalypse Truck Simulator is a Top Down off-road truck driving challenge featuring realistic physics and an unique post apocalyptic world. The focus is on providing a harsh terrain driving experience without requiring endless hours of grinding and economic management to get to the good stuff.

BONUS LEVELS

As you progress through the main missions bonus levels become available, giving access to new challenges and vehicles, giving the Player the opportunity to experience the world of The Remnant States from differing perspectives.

POST APOCALYPTIC WORLD

The world of Apocalypse Truck Simulator has been inspired by the unforgiving and desolate Australian wilderness, and also features a bespoke soundtrack that reflects the realities and hopes of an actual apocalypse survivor...

CASUAL EXPERIENCE

Apocalypse Truck Simulator is a game designed for modern sensibilities while featuring an old school emphasis on a simple, enjoyable experience, making it perfect for casual play.

i'm gonna give it a thumbs up because it's a good price and i love to see some innovation in the offroading category, but i have some issues, the camera movement is really awkward for me, having inverted up down options would be great, and being able to move the camera naturally is important in a game like this so you can see where all of your tires are. Also the lack of volume options is a bit annoying. Hope this gets fixed in the future, but other than that a cool game.

First of all - do NOT buy the game unless you have a controller. It's not designed for M+K and it's unplayable this way. Second - not saying the game is bad, but it's more like a programming student's project rather than a game. Third - not quite a simulator (definitely not Spintires/MR one), more like a platformer.

It is very difficult to find words to describe how wonderful this game is. It is practically perfect, I am sincerely in love with it and I am incredibly grateful to the person who made this masterpiece !!!!!! BUT UNFORTUNATELY this game is NOT suitable for Modern children......

Pretty fun and I'd recommend it if you want a few hours of precision trucking, I would say this is more of a neutral review though as i gave up on the first part of journey to the east, the second-last level. I wasn't able to make it to the first checkpoint. The physics felt pretty consistent for the other levels, but here without a handbrake and the automatic shifting with the throttle and brake/reverse, it felt like even when i was doing the same thing, the truck would behave slightly differently, causing inconsistent attempts to clear the path and obstacles. Usually resulting in my tipping over or sliding off the edge. With this first part of journey to the east, it felt like you had to consistently be at the perfect angle and speed to progress, but if you are slightly off you won't make it. The game feels pretty polished, it has decent physics and the randomized cargo kept it somewhat fresh each attempt. All of the "Main" levels are using a single truck, with the 4 bonus ones using one different one each.
