About Apollo Cosmic

In the 1960's world governments classified many events at the highest levels, including certain events behind the space race and Project MK Ultra. Researchers have reconfigured the events of one of the most well guarded and "cosmic classified" secrets of these programs. You can now experience for yourself what happened to one of the subjects in this Psychological Thriller / Walking Simulator. Take a trip to the moon alongside an unwelcome tour guide. Listen to his words and decide if you should follow him, or find a different path.
  • Land on the moon's surface in the bounds of an unexplainable anomaly.
  • Learn how details from your past created the person you are now.
  • Navigate your way through an unknown labyrinth in a dark and foreign terrain.

This is a story about the Apollo X mission, the mission that took place just before the famous historic event when the first man walked on the surface of the Moon. However, that is not entirely true, because in this story, you take on the role of Tom, an Apollo X astronaut who walks on the Moon first. Your task is to investigate a strange anomaly that could ruin the televised first step. The anomaly is marked by a cluster of levitating rocks. When you reach it, you discover an entrance to an underground facility, where you notice strange lights and pulsating material. You also begin hearing a voice with a Russian accent, someone who knows your name and keeps saying that you have already been here before. Another voice is present as well, but its words suggest that you might be in some sort of coma, which could explain the experiences you are about to have. The game is very straightforward and focuses on atmosphere and clear objectives. You do not have any special moves beyond standard first-person movement and jumping. You interact with rare items by approaching them, centering the dot on the object until it changes into a circle, and then pressing the mouse button. One importan…

Apollo Cosmic is a super interesting little trip into the "what ifs" of MK Ultra. Leo Dawn has done a great job of making you feel alone during this walking simulator. With no sounds other than your breathing and the annoying voice in your head you must traverse through what can only be described as a maze of psychosis. There are things to collect, but I'm not entirely sure what you do with them. There an interesting video playing on a television about half way through that i had to stop and watch. Took me roughly an hour to make it to the end, i think there might be multiple endings, so i might have to jump in for another quick run through. Great job Leo Dawn. Really excited to see whats next :D

An astronaut psychological horror experience that can be played in one sitting. It's a walking sim with no jump scares but some unsettling imagery and use of historic events. There is an segment of the game that was really interesting even though it supplied no gameplay I was glued to screen with intrigue. It is not the most polished game and some of the puzzles/interactions felt a bit janky (not New Jank City Certified) but other than that it provided and enjoyable experience that I recommend checking out if you are a fan of the genres.
