Aquatico is an underwater survival city-builder set on the ocean floor. The Earth’s surface has become a barren wasteland, forcing humanity to pour any remaining hope for a new beginning into the depths of the sea. Upon discovering a world below the tides, the opportunity to start over is within reach. Despite the new beginning, the dangers and challenges that lie ahead won’t make surviving under the sea a simple task…
Build a unique city underwater to escape a dying world. Survive the challenges of the sea and construct your base over multiple levels. Use the seabed to build core infrastructure and production facilities, while the domed layers above will house your people from the dangers of the depths.
Discover diverse biomes, gather resources, secure temperature readings and manage the multiple levels of your underwater base. Just be wary of natural sea life, as provoking creatures as you build and harvest may trigger dangerous events. Sharks and whales swarming your city may not be ideal…

Normally like city builder game but that one just did not hit the spot for me. It might worth trying for a few buck if in sales if that type of game is your style but don't have high expectations.3 found this helpful
If somebody comes to me with this game's premise I make a stylized "Rimworld under the ocean". You handle a bunch of dudes, your colony is compact and you need to baby sit it and have it grow piece by piece while adventuring out in the unknown. Give it the "welcome abord, captain!" vibe from Subnautica. These guys made a cheap "Surviving Mars" clone. Fair enough! But this game has a very annoying way of pushing my buttons. From the bait that is expeditions (don't bother); to the super frustrating end game missions; and also to the way your colonists are a bunch of millennial snowflakes who need 6 luxury items even if half of them are unemployed and also won't take anybody new in their 8 people mansions. Maybe this is the whole message. Even after the apocalypse we will still be a bunch of annoying whinny bastards. I did finish the game but my Lord these colonists did not deserve to be saved!1 found this helpful
Game runs like ♥♥♥♥ with a large base and the production boosts given by upgrades are not worth the increased demand by the population. Atlantis Project part of the game is another can of worms by itself. You can't cancel your goal after choosing and the game doesn't state what you need to do so you'll end up getting artificially slowed down until you do it. Overall good start/mid game but it teeters off harshly late game. The only reason I even played this much is because I wanted to 100% the game rather than enjoyment. I just gave up fulfillment late game and "rescue" people fast enough for my base to sustain the population rather than keep the people satisfied.1 found this helpful
Overall pretty boring. Game mechanics already seen in so many other games. Sea setting is nice, that's about it.
Could have been so much better but it was abandoned and then released. It runs ok. Only had it crash once or twice.
Not the game of the year but honestly I had a goot time on this one for the price. Warning : there's huge memory leak issues, so after 1 or 2 hours, dont forget to restart your game
