Arcade Mode has no time limit or lives, and the game saves progress automatically upon level completion. There are best times saved out for each level, as well as an overall best time for completing the 20 levels. Follow the radar toward your goal and access the tutorial at any time during play.
Adventure Mode encompasses a MUCH larger map and utilizes teleport pads to provide the player with a means of progression, as well as a checkpoint. You will encounter many more dynamic obstacles such as gravity wells, space worms, falling stalactites and more! There are also several paths through the level allowing players of all skill levels a rewarding experience. By discovering Fuel Tanks, it is also possible to complete all paths in one run for the die-hard fans. Use the mini-map to explore, locate and obtain your goals.
Procedural mode introduces a procedural level generator capable of providing an infinite number of levels. There are currently 3 different play modes. Quest, Time Trial and Practice. There is a leader board for Quest mode progress, and for Time Trial. Each game has a seed that can be used to replay those exact levels, or a random seed can be used for exploration. The procedural map generator is still in development and can currently only generate one style of map at varying difficulties. Future updates will see other map styles added to the generation capabilities.

Not a bad little game. I got it as a freebie a few years ago, though it is cheap enough to pick up if you're looking for something small and simple with a challenge. It runs fine on Steam Deck, despite not having any rating for it. But you will need to download a config if you want it to work properly,, unless you want to map the arrow keys manually. It doesn't offer cloud saves, but that doesn't really matter if you're achievement hunting. It will save your achievement progress outside off the game, and you can manually load each level if you don't want to start from the very beginning on a different system. The game also has Adventure Mode and a Procedural Mode (in permanent beta.) if you're in need of a break from crashing on the main levels. Overall I'd say I got m money's worth.2 found this helpful

[b] Arcade Moonlander[/b] is a great little time-killer game where you play as a small spaceship, and the goal is to land yourself on a platform in a specified amount of time. I like this game and considering I got this for free at one point I'm glad I invested my time into this as you can really see that devs really invested themselves to fully flesh this through. The controls are great and you can literally feel the heaviness of the spaceship as you navigate yourself through the levels. It's one of those games that are easy to get into, but extremely hard to fully master and that's the beauty of it! It's simple, mindless fun that is certainly worth your time! 8/101 found this helpful

This game is a gem. minimalistic retro pixel feel with great music that plays well on a steam deck. OLED and the contrasts work really good. Nice levels. Recommend!!!
