Asfalia: The Cranky Volcano
I bought this game when it was called Asfalia Anger it’s now Free so everyone can experience the first Asfalia game. I personally didn’t enjoy seeing Charlie mad at his dog, otherwise the story in the volcano is fun I had an issue mid-game with the bridge, the puzzle didn’t work and restarting the game didn’t change anything. I waited the next day to try again and it worked, I’m not the only one who experienced this issue, so it might be a common bug around this area.2 found this helpful
A really beautiful little free game with a great story. I recommend this game.
Asfalia: The Cranky Volcano A fun adventure game, free and not to long With a story to enjoy for young and older including nice characters like a hermit dwarf,. A did have a small problem with our main character Charlie The kids anger makes the world, but its toward here best friend a dog and felt so misplaced. Maybe thats why they call it a tantrum (Not even a im sorry at the end)
The first Asfalia is a cute and beginner friendly point and click adventure game. The story is played from the perspective of a little boy which makes the game suitable for a young audience. You walk around, interact with objects, talk with NPC, use items in specific spots and solve around 2-3 easy puzzles to break up the pace. In terms of collectibles, there are 51 stickers to find when you click on objects or complete certain objectives. The voice acting feels professionally done, like what you hear from cartoons but in a good way. The characters are charming and the environments are pleasantly colourful. The game is very good about respecting a player’s time. You get chapter select once you complete the story. It shows you where you are missing collectibles, you can get what you want and quit instantly since your progress is saved. I didn’t really notice any flaws. There is one that is very nitpicky and that’s the text not matching the voices on rare occasions. It seems the writer is not a native English speaker while the voice actors are, they took the liberty of sounding more natural. That’s all I got! The reason I played this Asfalia is because the second one is on sale at…
Asfalia: The Cranky Volcano is a quirky, point and click game that sees you play a young boy who gets angry with his dog because she won't play with him. He then embarks on a bizarre adventure, helping strange characters, collecting stickers and the obligatory achievement. It's a fun well crafted little game that suits all ages, and is very easy to play.
It's kid logic alright. I was very much charmed by it until it turned out that the kid just needed an adult to talk to him about some basic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ biology and empathy.
