Astra's Garden

As much as I like Nami's previous games, I for once feel underwhelmed by my purchase: there just isn't enough meat on the bone for 5 bucks. The gameplay is really rudimentary and the story, while touching, doesn't offer the depth I found and appreciated in the author's other games. I'm aware the game is available for free on the author's Itch.io page and so are some of the other games purchasable on Steam, but the additional content just isn't worth the spend, and said other games are cheaper and / or have more to offer. Only buy the game if you really wanna support the dev.

i wouldn't say the new mechanics make it a "totally different experience than the free version" at all, and i expected so as well from seeing the gameplay trailer. but i bought the game anyways, reset my data, and played through the whole thing again and i dont regret it. i dont think astra's garden has good gameplay or much content but i love this game, and it hit me just as hard on the second playthrough even though i remember the plot from my playthrough a year ago. im happy to support the creator.

Very cute game! I've enjoyed growing the flowers :3 I do wish we could sell the flowers tho, or do something with them once we've grown them, that would have been cool! (unless we can and I've missed it? QwQ) Simple and relaxing, utilise the charms effectively and that should speed up your progress! Otherwise, I've actually been meaning to play it ever since I got it off Itch.io sometime last year, but I forgot about it :sob: Now that it's on Steam I've bought it and finally finished it! Definitely worth the money :3

This was not a good game to play while going through a rough time helping mum navigate her chronic illness. Fantastic game though! Very sweet. I love Astragalus (I received this as a key through my girlfriend who had keys from NomnomNami's patreon. I think this sold me on their stories :D)

This game is terrific, the gameplay is simple with it's flowers and charms, the characters are loveable and the story is tragic and beautiful. While I think it might only take most people at most under 2 hours to fully complete this game, I still think it's worth it for the story at least. This was the first NomnomNami game I've ever played, out of all their games I could've chosen to be the first one I try I think I absolutely made the right choice. Even if some might say that playing Bad End Theatre would've been a better option due to the popular reputation that game has, I still think this game is great start for anyone wanting a taste of the sort of games NomnomNami makes. I know it's true that I can't really determine what their entire catalogue of games are like based after playing only a single game of theirs, since some of their other games might be more happy than sad or more sad than happy, I still think that this game has a fair mix of both to show the player what they can expect from NomnomNami's other awesome games. Oh, and read the little story sections! ---{ Audio }--- The music's good. ---{ PC Requirements }--- You got games on your phone? If you can run paint, this should run as well. ---{ Game Size }--- Pretty small. Good. ---{ Difficulty }--- It's very easy. You just need to click. Nothing more. ---{ Grind }--- While possible, it's only required to ""grind"" to progress the story. (Grind is in quotes because you just have to wait.) ---{ Story }--- Like all NomNomNami Games, it's writing is good. Short, but good. ---{ Game Time }--- It took me an hour to 100% the game. ---{ Price }--- It's cheap. Now, while it is worth the price... the game is very short, and doesn't have much replayability.
