I'm not sure what happened ... after I played the heck out of the demo last year, I was longing for more. This was just so much fun to play! Now, even with my prior knowledge, I can't even get through the intro. The game doesn't tell you anything, you're left to find out everything yourself. Which would be totally okay, if you had the time to actually explore. But for some reason they removed the pod as a source of CO², so you can easily soft-lock yourself into a constant loop of dying until the necessary plants respawn. And then you just go back to spending all of your CO² on collecting just barely enough energy to refill your CO² ... I hope at some point the beginning will go back to the experience we had in the demo, for right now the basically non-existent on-boarding and the lack of respite from the CO² mechanic keep me from playing at all. Which is a shame, for I REALLY enjoyed the demo.

This is the FIRST time I have EVER put on a negative review, but I felt I had to. I played the demo for ages, which I really enjoyed, so I bought in EA. Unfortunately, since the update, the game has become so confusing and less fun. Fruit have become so scarce I run round like a loon trying to find it, and die due to lack of oxygen. Which brings me to the way to make oxygen. You have to put fruit into the new machine to build up power, to actually make oxygen (bit of a double edged sword!) Making things have also become so confusing, I don't know what I'm doing?? And there is little or no instruction as to what to do. If they have another update to correct a lot of the above, and more, I would be so happy to play again and recommend it.

Gave this a shot despite the mixed reviews, but I shouldn't have. It was fun for a while, seemed promising if in need of some fleshing out and development - and then I got stuck in progression with absolutely no indication of what to do next or how to do it. Game killer for me. I'm all for puzzles and figuring things out, and that's what I did for all of what I did play, since there's little to no information actually given to you for anything; however, when following a quest marker leads you to a dead end and there's no option to get around it even after trying to explore for an hour...I'm done. Maybe someone else has better luck. Maybe something went wonky in my save. Maybe I'm somehow an idiot. Whatever the case, the game needs some more thought in user interface and substance before I can, in good conscience, recommend it. Sad, too; I wanted to like it.

Before they made changes the game was fun, Even with the changes I believe the game can be fun, however they broke many aspects of the game when they made their changes. Unable to water your plants, First Gold idol head missing, When any new changes are done to the game it resets your own saved progress. Such as doing the orb puzzles for your ships energy. I had it half way filled and it is back down to the first orb puzzle. When you have energy in your scanner it may not scan or the light from it will not turn on. I have also had to do a new game about 5 times now due to not being able to progress because the game thinks I am further behind than I am, every time they change anything it cause an issue with a previously saved game. I am quite disappointed. I am going to wait a while before attempting to play again.

Played the demo and thought this will be good. Now, nothing makes sense, its confusing as hell. It is not a good game as it is. Only buy this if its on sale really cheap.

Having an issue with the achievement (ritual hydration)I am trying to fill the bowls but it’s different than online says. I have no idea what’s going on.anyone have any helpful info?
