6/10 The game has a pretty good finish, I was quite curious to play it since I saw it on X these days. Although the pace is a bit slow at the beginning, the scares in the corridors and the tension of knowing you might die make it a decent game to play. It's true that when you finish you want to keep exploring the lore and see how it continues so I hope the developer keeps polishing this idea and keeps making updates to add some more content.4 found this helpful
This is a slapper! Really nice to just have a short survival horror where you shoot zombies with powerful, satisfying to use weapons in linear levels. It sounds generic, but it's really uncommon. Most zombie shooters just want to be the next COD zombies. It gets intense when you get closer to the end, I really liked that. Just a few flaws all of them minor (keep in mind that I only played Story Mode): 1) Shotgun ammo is too rare. Shotgun ammo spawns in one shell at a time, so you never have much. 2) The Hunting Rifle badly needs to be buffed. It has terrible accuracy and body damage. 3) Zombies need to have more audio cues. Especially crawlers, who can hit you without you even hearing them beforehand. Crawlers in general need to be fixed, they can spawn right on top of the player. 4) Syringes, in my opinion, should spawn inside of drawers or drop from crates to synchronize features and remove potential for errors, because they glitched out and were invisible for me. 5) When you get hit, the blood effect is too excessive and blocks the camera. I think toning it down a little would improve the playing experience. 6) The crate drop mechanic needs to be overhauled. Sometimes it…2 found this helpful
Asylum Nightmares, developed and published by NecoPlanet, is a compact survival horror shooter that leans heavily on familiar genre conventions while aiming to deliver a tense, straightforward experience. Set entirely within a dark, abandoned asylum overrun by hostile creatures, the game strips away complexity and focuses on a core loop of navigating confined spaces, managing limited resources, and fending off relentless threats. It’s a design that prioritizes immediacy and accessibility over innovation, offering a no-frills take on horror-action gameplay. The structure is divided primarily between a progression-based mode and a more arcade-style survival mode, each built around the same foundational mechanics. In the main mode, players move through multiple floors of the asylum, restoring power and clearing areas as they descend deeper into the building. This creates a steady rhythm of exploration followed by confrontation, where each new section introduces more enemies and slightly higher stakes. The act of bringing areas back online gives a small but satisfying sense of control in an otherwise oppressive environment. The alternative mode shifts the focus entirely to endurance, …1 found this helpful
pretty middle of the road for gameplay, the starting handgun is better than most of the other weapons except a few regardless of wave in horde mode. I'll give it a 6/10. Fun enough to waste 20 minutes to a half hour, buy it on sale1 found this helpful
