and yet again I find another game where I would’ve bet my life I’d already left a review for… this is getting to be really annoying, but I can’t just NOT leave a review when the game is so good! I’ve barely scratched the surface of what’s inside, but it’s a great twin stick shooter, seems to be pretty deep… I don’t know, what else can I say? There’s no barrier to entry, it’s free - get going already!

I played a lot of VS. I tried many clones, although briefly during next steam fests as I don't want to sink too much time into them. I am mostly curious to see for like half an hour each on average what they try to do and bring new to the table. Now, this is one of the best clones I've ever tried. Don't get fooled by the design, yes it's kind of minimalist looking and essential, but it is coherent and clever nonetheless. The UI is barebones, yes, but it's not necessarily a bad thing, and you can really see that the development resources have been concentrated on the core games. And it's been absolutely nailed. There is a large amount of loadouts, it's not too grindy related to the genre, and most importantly, fun to play. I find that the two current negative reviews are very superficial. One played the game for only 10 minutes so we can skip that one. The other one played for little over half an hour, and used very rude tones and I don't think they understood the complexity of the game. The style of the graphics is like other games (think geometry wars) and it's not "lame", it's just a style, you can like it or not, it's subjective. And the fact that it doesn't have many players…

"Autopanic Zero" is a lame, minimalistic retro twin stick shooter with, well, nothing really going for it. It's an old, dead genre, so releasing yet another one onto Steam that's worse than all the others isn't adding anything of real value for gamers. The game features really lacklustre minimalist visuals that were undoubtedly the primary cause of the failure of this very lame twin stick shooter. Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones. This is only free in a rudimentary sense... the developer has their hand out for a "donation" for this as you're expected to buy some extra empty DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloa…

Игра 'Autopanic Zero' оказалась приятным сюрпризом. Это хаотичный шутер с видом сверху, где игрок управляет автомобилем, отчаянно отбиваясь от волн врагов. Графика простая, но стильная, с яркими цветами и динамичными эффектами. Главный плюс — геймплей. Он невероятно затягивает! Постоянные улучшения для машины, разнообразие врагов и оружия заставляют возвращаться снова и снова. Уровни становятся все сложнее, требуя быстрой реакции и стратегического мышления. Особо порадовало количество разблокируемых машин, каждая со своими особенностями. Несмотря на простоту, в игре есть своя глубина. Нужно умело использовать окружение, выбирать правильное оружие под ситуацию и вовремя обновлять характеристики автомобиля. Иногда чувство паники наваливается от количества врагов на экране, но именно это делает игру такой захватывающей. Не могу сказать, что игра идеальна. Иногда управление кажется немного неуклюжим, а музыка довольно однообразная. Однако, эти недостатки меркнут по сравнению с общим весельем и адреналином, которые дарит 'Autopanic Zero'. Рекомендую всем любителям динамичных и хаотичных шутеров, особенно тем, кто ищет игру на пару вечеров.
