Awkward Valley is a totally normal, definitely-not-a-time-loop daily planner sim! Each morning, drag activities from your trusty notebook into your schedule and hit "Start" to watch your perfectly (or terribly) planned day unfold. Will you be productive, exhausted, or just spiral into existential dread? Featuring a micro deck-building mechanic, every choice shapes your routine. Convert fatigue into gains at the gym, fuel your soul (or just your stomach) with vending machine snacks, or attend therapy to process your life choices. An interesting take on the Groundhog Day idea. Fun and chaotic. I love Lars and can relate to him as a person with social anxiety. I might even plan out my days again! Fun to figure out what works and what doesn't! I'd love to see a guide for this game, as it can be tricky at times. Overall, a cool idea and good dynamics!
This is an oddly satisfying game. You start with very little unlocked so your day looks pretty blah. But as you try different combinations you unlock more activities and grow your day. I have in no way fully explored all this game has to offer. For a free game there’s a LOT of content to enjoy. If you’re a fan of micro-managing, organisational games with quirky characters then you’d be mad to pass this up. [B]Pros[/B] - Oddly satisfying - Great pacing - So much content - It’s free?! Boring, weak, and uninteresting. Completely trash.
Fun lil game. Not sure how to describe the gameplay other than its building a schedule and seeing the consequences. It's a bit boring but it's fun to try to unlock new scenarios. 6/10
